It was estimated that before the plague their numbers were somewhere between 108 million to 65 million, this is all the native americans.however the plague killed around 70 to 90% of their population. It took about 400 years to finish off the last 10% of natives.so it dropped from around 60 million to less then 1million.with some tribes going extinct.however there are about 3 million native americans today and 300 tribes still left after.
