Fantastic, exactly what I need to know. I got caught on a lee shore during a battle yesterday this would have helped me get out of it. I think the nautical term you're looking for when turning through the wind is "going about" :)
Thanks a lot man you dont know how many times i got my azz kicked by upc ships by getting stuck . Somehow i mannaged to lose my frigate to a small ship cause of that . Thanks fir the tip but i still suck at this game .
I second this I keep finding myself looking at the sail and spending a few seconds thinking about "if the wind pushes the sail this way them my ship will go this way but if move the sail this way then..." This simplified it all for me.
