Been a big admirer of Matt Ridgley's work since the late 1990s. My personal favorites were The Origins of Virtue & The Red Queen.

For those interested in philosophy, Naval in various instances recommended J Krishnamurthi's books such as The Book of Life, Total Freedom.

@@prashantparmar8711 Some of them do know that they have survivorship bias, however, think about it; if you were a billionaire, you'd probably tell everyone that your secret to success is within some books and getting up at 4am in order to maintain your competitive edge.

Nassim Taleb is one of the great philosophers of our time. Time itself will prove that in due course, if it has not already.

I have just watched the Calum Johnson show. He did an interview with Dontez Akram and mentioned your name and one of your quotes, so obviously I had to come and check you out! I am extremely happy that I did. Your content is awesome! Subscribed 😁

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 💡 "How Innovation Works" by Matt Ridley is recommended for entrepreneurs in various fields. 📚 Distinguishing invention from innovation: Invention is creating a prototype, while innovation is making a practical, affordable, and reliable product people want. 💡 Ideas alone are dime a dozen; turning them into reality is what matters. 🌟 Rational optimism is key; avoid partnering with cynics and pessimists. 💰 Being an entrepreneur requires an action bias and optimism for success. 🔬 Nassim Nicholas Taleb's books, like "Skin in the Game," are highly recommended for their timeless and transformative insights. 🔄 Trial and error often outperforms design due to the intelligence of learning from mistakes. 👓 Reading impactful books like "The Beginning of Infinity" by David Deutsch can expand knowledge and transform thinking.
