Ponder a couple of those Typhoon/Spike turrets integrated onto the aft that K50 concept boat and call it a day already! Could probably shave 6 months off the mumbo jumbo ever-evolving R&D plans for how to potentially (we're actually not quite sure how to) equip it?? Feel free to buy me coffee. Cheers!

The Spike NLOS could be better suited for smaller naval ship such as OPVs and Missile Boats where space is limited.

It's AW159 ASW helicopters also has Spike NLOS while the smaller MPAC Mk.3 and Mk.4 has Spike ERs.

The Turkish drones, Rafael both make great equipment but the Chinese companies I tend to be critical of. Why? because in most militaries that we see buying Chinese made end up not having good things to say. Most look great and many work fine when new but they tend to be of poor quality. Many countries end up having to repurchase the same capability as the Chinese equipment degrades far sooner than most others. So you save at first but end up spending more because it never last long.

Chinese weapons are affordable. I understand US doesn't like china getting money so they make propaganda about china. It doesn't matter what US want, countries will buy china product to protect their country. Most countries don't even use this weapons often so they will last long. When they do use them, they will have more weapons than countries that bought expensive weapons.

5:20 Finally, missile system inclusion for typhoon. Why did Xavier didn't ask that part, but anyway, even if that's for SSMs, it can be tweaked for VSRSAMs. Maybe a modification to vertical rectangle launcher like in Sadral to make the grip stronger. And say, same 4-round VSRSAM launcher also at the other side. Total of 8 VSRSAMs Edit: it might just be only be 4 VSRSAMs (or 5 if Martlet like in DS30M) due to weight issue, among others. I got carried away of the improvement, hehe. But hopefully >4 is doable. If not, well 4 is already big

@ water -- ok, how about further pondering a Frigate-worthy hypothetical *Typhoon Battle Turret* (TBT) variant next?? To say, include a self-contained all-in-one package to be bolted onto a deck ? Think a 3-wide, triple-barreled gun layout within the main domed turret as a baseline? Coupled with an optional configuration to include any following 7+7 launch box mix (14 rnds tot) of: Python-5, RiM116 Block 2X, Spike NLOS, or even Brimstone /Hellfire, as a last resort ? Just integrate an extra-optional, 20kw class anti-drone zapper ball on top the turret for good measure and call it a day ? ✌🗯 edit: a full range of capabilities and options within a single baseline product model, could potentially enhance the deterrence value, let alone acquisitions?

@@donkoh5738 I don't know what to say but I think I'll just have to settle for a Typhoon using a 30mm having a burst mode like Oerlikon KCA (if not the D 35mm model), with the mount able to fit 8 VSR SAMs with no issues. But that's only when the location is centerline For noncenterline, then Typhoon having the NATO standard 40mmx365mm but the barrel dia changed to 50mm since it has guided features, so the shell can turn, thus no need for centerline position. The US Army already tested the 50x228 guided round via the Bushmaster III. If 50mm fails to get wide adoption, then back to 57mm. So I guess Typhoon 57mm turret will cater to markets where Swedish Govt prohibits export. Or I guess there will be no Typhoon 57 as there's the BAE option, or they will collaborate again

if the indigenous naval carrier borne Tejas Mk2M maritime multi role fighter interceptor is to be a success, then it'll have to be incorporated with folding wings for easy stowage in below deck aircraft hangar . . . inspite of Tejas Mk2M lightweight overall small size . . . a reinforced fuselage, wings & horizontal & vertical stabilizer . . . strengthened forward & aft landing gears . . . not to mention in-flight refuelling capability . . .

The consept for the gunship is the Iranian IRGC Naval gunships that has been in use for about 15 years now and is all over Persian Gulf. So brits are 15 years late and dollars short 😃
