What would you choose? The G30 or the S65??
@se7enzee444
@se7enzee444 Год назад
Easy decision, go with S65 because it's less expensive and more comfortable. I live in the US and speed is 32km. If you need to spend more $$ to upgrade parts of the G30, might as well spend on a higher end scooter.

This is what Xiaomi should be thinking about after the Xiaomi 4 Pro. Cons on the Navee are the noise it makes lol

Definitely the speed and noise is a let down. But the suspension and the strong frame would be nice to see on a Xiaomi.

The noise is OK. Just wish it goes faster and have additional brake in the front.

Because of the tork on the navee you're way faster in a city area going from point a to b, I talk from experience with both scooters. The navee is way quicker going about in the city.
@Movelectrics
@Movelectrics 11 месяцев назад
The actual speed the S65 gives out is 22/23km/h only. Good city commuter but that motor I personally did not like. They recently released the S65c which is refined and no longer has the same motor.

@@Movelectrics The Navee S65 is a class of it's own with a geared motor hence the better acceleration and the noise it makes. The futuristic looks are a giveaway too. It is priced at 300 euros more than the S65C due to it's special one of a kind geared motor.

The only thing that stops me from buying the s65 is that i can't find spare parts and also can't find it for at least 700€.I don't mind it's top speed considering it's a good quallity scooter.

All in all, I think Navee had an idea to make an innovative scooter, but they botched it with design decision of using a geared motor. Which in turn has no braking ability. So they had to put single brake to the rear. And you are forced to listen to that whining noise. At least pedestrians hear you comming from afar :-) And gears are plastic, so you will be replacing them soon.
@Movelectrics
@Movelectrics Год назад
Agree. I would love to see a brushless motor, higher speed. That would be great.

@DonLuigi72
@DonLuigi72 Год назад
Great try at an honest review. You did skip on the braking, though. This scooter only has a single rear brake. Front wheel has no brake at all! Normally, 70% of the braking force is provided by front wheel, and only %30 by rear, so you can imagine braking performance on this. Especially in the wet and downhill, I challenge you to stop at all :-) Also, you didn't mention that, this being gear driven motor, gears are made of plastic and require replacement after few 1000 km. In case you were wondering, that annoying noise is generated by those plastic gears. And suspension is made out of rubber - not springs and dampers - and in time will start to crack and collapse. Anyway, would be great to see braking comparison between G30 and S65. Maybe also in the wet? Also, S65 lacks any engine braking due to it being geared. So you can forget about one finger driving. In my G30, I brake 90% of the time by simply lifting off the throttle. And without any hassle it goes 30 km/h.
@Movelectrics
@Movelectrics Год назад
Hi Yes the braking is actually quite decent. Standard disc braking. Of course in rain, need to careful. Like I mention in the video, only 1 brake pad is pushing against the disc and the other is static. Semi-hydraulic brakes would be great (if they mount ok) Thank you for sharing about the motor. Never had a scooter like this so it’s very new to me. Definitely don’t like it though.
@DonLuigi72
@DonLuigi72 Год назад
@@Movelectrics During low intensity braking, rear only is fine. But if there is an emergency, and you have to stop as fast as possible, I guarantee you will lock the rear wheel...

I live in San Francisco where there are many hills. When I'm going downhill, I go very slow and squeeze the brake half way as it's going down and squeeze all the way in the last 5 meters.
