Definitely no, I have seen it in my parents. Both my parents were very well educated and have been living abroad for more than 3 decades. I married against my parents interest a couple of years back. We are having a kid now. Till now my mom and both my siblings have never even talked a single caring word. My dad has never announced that I am married in my village. My sister attended puberty last week and my parents refused to even let me speak to my sister. My father was continuously messaging me to help or support him to manage the situation among the village amidst relatives. I don't know why their pride among relatives matters more than their daughter. They never let me speak to my own sister for a week till my dad demands all his favour. What an empty life is this? I pity myself for being their daughter.

More than education, I feel empathy and common sense required to be a human.
