Dylan this was your best video in quite a while. No screaming, no complaining, or saying someone else is going to win constantly. Keep more videos like this coming bro. Just solid gameplay without the dramatics and the bad vibes.
i agree, dylan i think you getting too bogged down and putting yourself down and getting upset with other players is offputting especially when it does nothing productive for you
Love Ur content keep up the good work. A little suggestion maybe add the rank Ur currently at for each video or number series in episodes so it's easier to follow along Ur journey to the top
So interesting how placements on the typical board setup work out. On the physical copy, each number token has a letter on the back, and you arrange them in a spiral (it’s balanced that way). Usually, certain existing settlements get taken (6/5/9, 6/9/3, 8/5/10, 9/10/11) and shifting a position can mess up the board. Blue’s placements are a prime example of this- usually the 5/9/10 gets taken rather than the 4/5/10 (the 4/5/10 also locks up the board, as it is a blocking settlement).
Blue is the classic toxic player who doesn't see the big picture, only gets really emotional from being robbed one time when they didn't think it should be them being robbed. "red deserves this loss" "steal from me again". Really dislike playing with people like this because they just ruin games with toxicity and playing overly emotional
Haven't finished the video! But I have to say, people like OJ are awful. "Just play", he says. Talking is part of the game, otherwise there wouldn't be a chat box. Communicating with other players is playing.
The dumb part is they are upset people are chatting when it isn't their turn. Meaning people who are chatting because they literally can't do anything else, are being told to "hurry up" because these kinds of people perceive any back and forth chatting as time consuming even when it has zero impact on the time
Man, my anxiety spikes just by listening to Dylan...calm down bro.....think in your mind before uttering anything you see, articulate your thoughts to make better decisions and don't just react to everything. Don't overthink when making decisions, as Dandy would say.
Comparing Dylan with Dandy is unfair. They have different thinking strategies, which is totally okay. Dylan is more an analyst while Dandy is an intuitive player. Seeing Dylan think out loud makes for an interesting video.
@@maxachterweust. I am not comparing Dylan with Dandy, i was just referring to the games where Dandy coached Dylan and noticed that he overthinks a lot which ruins most of his games. In my opinion overthinking is not bad but if you do this for every decision you make you’ll ended up making a bad choice compared to what you thought initially. Thinking about scenarios which never even occur or have a low probability of happening for every decision will just exhaust you and you’ll make bad decisions eventually .This is true for every player/human doesn’t matter the game. Its how human thinking works. By the way everything i said above is my own understanding it can defer from others and I respect it. I am studying human behavioural and its part of my psychology course at university, thats why I love playing games like catan, poker, chess and analysing players behaviour and how it effects there gameplay. :)
