Hey! Great video!! :) I am a recipient of the 4 year Navy HPSP for dental school, and I just want to mention that the officer training is ODS (Officer development school), which is 5 weeks, rather than OCS (officer candidate school), which is I think 12 weeks. The difference is that ODS mainly consists of HPSP healthcare professionals and other professions that have already been commissioned as officers (we are actually already considered officers while in dental school), whereas OCS is for those who are still working towards becoming officers. I've heard OCS is much more grueling than ODS.
Hello, did you have a child at the time of application? Do you think having a child will affect the likelihood of getting the scholarship. Do you think this scholarship is do-able with having a child? I know the GPA/DAT is competitive, but what was your DAT/GPA?
She did not have a child. We're sure you could make it work. Please do reach out to a recruiter to get comprehensive info on the program. Best of luck to you!
Hi, great video guys? I just have one question Is there an age limit to get approve for the scholarship? Please get back to me thank you and I am interested in the Army branch.
Not positive, we'll reach out to Joyce to verify. Try reaching out to a local recruiter as well. I'm sure they'll be able to provide you with a lot more information about the program, and it would be good to have a point person to connect with.
The Bible says that we are all guilty of breaking the Ten Commandments of God (Romans @). As a result, we all deserve to go to Hell because none is righteous, no not one. (Romans @). But the good news is that you do not have to go to Hell (John @). Jesus Christ loves you so much that He died on the Cross for your sins and if you Repent of your sins and Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior then you will be saved (John @). Jesus is calling on all to repent and you know longer have to live in despair but in love, joy, and peace through Jesus Christ. Amen.
