I always thought being a SEAL would be cool, then I watched a video about a raid where the assault came from open water through an area next to a meat packing plant. The water was permanently inhabited by great white sharks and the SEALs had to swim through them... twice. Are you frikin kidding! Getting shot is bad enough but that's a whole new level. I can't imagine the courage required to swim, possibly dark water, knowing there are great white sharks all around. Mega respect.
Should have seen what they sent us through in training. I'd gladly trade a few great whites vs a night dive again... Just cuz it's training doesn't mean navy had control over whatever was using me as a bath toy 30m down. I ditched my tags because things like barracuda LOVE shiny... And lol everyone wants to be an operator until it's time to do operator $**t
Not to mention the microbial warfare from all that raw sewage and rotten meat only to be possibly told that the "disease and/or lost organs from the shark bite where not related to service" by the va. Much respect to those that dare.
Everyone in this channel is so chill and very like able even though they are some of the baddest if not the baddest our military has. One of my favorite channels on RU-vid.
The amount of gear just boggles my mind, seems so heavy I'm sweating just thinking about it. Can't imagine the stress it puts on your body over a career. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. Definitely going to incorporate some of this knowledge into my hunting kit where applicable.
Absolutely loved this. How about a packing list based on environment. Specifically how to or what protocol you use for picking mission critical equipment. I'd like to see that process for decision making if possible!
As a civi without a support network I'd imagine your only scenario is to avoid contact and gtfo asap. You don't have medics coming, you don't have iv antibiotics or surgeons with sawzalls to remove shattered limbs. Your goal ON THE MOVE is evasion ALWAYS. Your goal for bugging in is to be the gray man. Unless you have a trained unit ( and even if) getting shot at is your last priority
Interesting on the "wet" discussion at about 7:50, found that the 511 trousers are amazingly water repellant. Went full into water and couldn't believe how well my 511 trousers dried out. When you're looking at carriers and such, drying out is SUPER important. Keeping your skin dry is important.
Love the channel. I'm a former Marine and have to say you and your SEAL brothers, past and present, are hard-core. Nothing but respect. I was curious what blade you are running on your plate carrier.
Very good presentation. TNX. I have to get my hands on those jungle boots for my son. He is building down hill mnt bike trails in Central America. Killing his current footwear. Anyone know where we can find them?
Well I apreatate you showing this equipment the way the world is going its good to be prepared for the worst possible I was a navy seamon so I want to thank you for showing this equipment for sale. Thank you Sir

@@dorr600 OH OK. That actually makes sense. I was thinking secret squirrel stuff. Lol. I've seen them around but everybody kinda ignores them going over their helmets. Thanks for the response.
I was an apache pilot, and the seals i worked with always had dark circles under their eyes,, I asked whats with the dark circles? they said that goes away with sleep... lol
Would like to know what if any special consideration to weapon selection in a submerged or drenched environment would be critical to reliability and function, Optics, lights, laser, nods ect. How does the Tecno fighter address these challenges in harsh environments
Can you do the firearms version, I’d be interested to know what you guys got to pick/carry for the ops. Did you really get free choice of what ever weapon?
Hey Dorr, around 7:20 you're taking about EBS (Emerg. Breathing System) right? Do you guys ditch them and leave them on the helo a few minutes from target? I can't imagine carrying what is essentially a pressurized-air pipebomb into a gun fight is a particularly appealing idea...? haha I found a carbon fiber wrapped EBS that went up to 4500 PSI or 310BAR! Man that would be no joke. =\ Although I guess If ya'll roll like DJ Shipley with the detonators already in your slap charges, you're not going to sweat the pressurized canister. haha =\ Man oh man... Thanks for the rad content Dorr, and everyone else! =) And thanks in advance if anyone can make sometime to answer.
I mean it’s good to have jungle boots, but a lot of us got by by wearing pantyhose over socks, better results for protection, wear pantyhose and then put your socks on and then put pantyhose over I need for guys who did that but I stick with the jungle boots, but those of you guys plan to take jungle training and if you know there’s leeches which is common sense wear pantyhose my daddy was LRRP back in Vietnam he gave me the good advice before jungle Trining it worked well for me, and in real world
Do you offer training classes? Im in Las Vegas but wouldn’t mind traveling and am planning on moving to South Dakota. Also can you recommend a good long range training course? Thank you and God bless.
Yes, check out: tacticalhyve.com/tactical-training-near-me/ We have an opening for a class in Vegas in November and two spots open for our long range class in San Diego on Feb. 17-18.
Do you attach the lanyard on the trigger guard if there is no ring for it? Do you attach the other end to the holster or the belt close to it? Great video! Of the knee pads on or inserts, which kind for what purpose? So many out there...hard shell, gel, memory stuff, combos. From other use my concern is that they stay where they should be. Any tips on those would be quite helpful. After lots of gear videos, using some specific gear used, like showing fast rope and climbing would be amazing. Go a step further and Hey, this Dorr and Coach in deep pool + commentary.
