Jumping out of a plane and landing to a stadium of applause has GOT to be one of the greatest feelings.

Most seals I've seen just bask on rocks or follow fishing trawlers. These US seals are very different.

I’m not even American (I’m an Aussie) l felt proud and had the chills as the great American flag entered the stadium to the cheers of the crowd.

Absolutely incredible. What most people probably don’t understand is that while jumping isn’t very dangerous at all, this sort of formation jump is EXTREMELY dangerous if not done perfectly. Anybody makes a mistake and runs into someone’s chute or lines, and everybody’s tangled together in a death dive. Cutting away to a reserve won’t help you if you’re tied to someone else. Absolute chads right here.

I've always loved how Americans cheers for their Armed Forces, how respectful are of them. A nephew of mine, my eldest one, 22 years old, is a 4th Year Cadet in our Naval Academy (Chilean Navy), and because of being on the top of his class, along the other best 3 spend the 2nd half of 2019, his second year at the Academy, studying the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis. Invaluable experience, and part of an interchange student program that exists between the Chilean Navy and the U.S. Navy. Our naval uniforms are very similar to the American ones, and when they were hanging out, always in uniform, at restaurants and such, having a hamburger, or in an airport, always people approach them saying thanks for their service, or paying their restaurant tickets in advance. They were instructed to tell the people that they were not American cadets, but Chilean ones, on U.S. Navy invitation, but nevertheless, that only made people kinder, if possible. Greetings from Chile.

I don't know if you can pick up on it in the video but the jumper with the camera and his partner where flying so close that at one point (roughly 1:40 in the video) he actually had his boots touching the other mans chute then at roughly the 3:00 mark they actually had their legs linked. That calls for not only an enormous amount of skill but an insane level of trust in your partner. Well done.

As someone with a huge fear of heights, this was fun to watch. Although I've done bungee jumping, paragliding and even sky diving...I'm still scared of heights. Doing all those activities did not make things easier, but reinforced my fear.

only a small amount of navy seals are actually hardcore soldiers doing missions

This is the part about the military that I will always cherish. The comradery, the knowing that your buddies will always have your back. You will never make friends like the ones you will make in the military. Those were some of the best of times. 👍

I get anxiety just looking down out of the plane. I couldn’t even imagine having to jump. Self preservation would kick in and prevent it. Utmost respect to these brave people for having the courage to do this and to serve.

Love how they link together and turn their cutes sideways for a straight down drop then last minute pull up for a quick soft landing... damn deadly move when in a war zone for sneaking up on enemy fast.

that little Wahoo was adorable! watching my dad tangle and have to cut away before my one and only jump was terrifying. seeing that shoot open on my drop was such a good sight after watching my dad land off in the woods.. but i jumped with the crazy guy who base-jumped the devon tower in OKC so i was pretty fearless attached to him. big ups to these fearless men! when i first watched this years ago i never realized they linked up together while dropping into the stadium. that was insane. even more fun than the first time i watched. probably one of the best youtube vids in my memory.
