My name is Troy Bjorklund, I'm a born and raised Minnesotan, and I've been a Timberwolves fan for as long as I can remember. For some, that sentence sounds like the opening remarks of a new participant of a Sports Trauma Anonymous group, but for me it's a badge of honor. We've experienced some dark days as Timberwolves fans, and I created this channel to remember where we've come from, celebrate where we are, and turn our attention towards what could be.
I hope this channel entertains you, inspires you, and brings value to your life as a Timberwolves/NBA fan. If you resonate with the message of this channel, please subscribe!

I realize 14% body fat is relatively healthy for the average person, and that losing 20 pounds doesn’t sound that significant. But as an athlete, his game was molded around his size as he was more of a center in college. The point of this short is to credit Naz for his work ethic, because it’s not just that he lost weight but it’s the fact that his game has developed to the point where he’s much more athletic and able to guard players on the perimeter when asked to. Also, I think some of you are missing the fact that he was the “fattest” in the 2019 combine, not the fattest in the NBA. Pretty clear distinction that I made from the jump.

14% is still an above average body fat that is very healthy and the other players that were sub 10% likely weren't. Even the best methods of BMI testing can still be incredibly inaccurate and it's not unlikely that the other people in his draft weren't all under 10% bodyfat. Once you get so low it's hard to stay energized and have your body function correctly so I find it hard to believe that that many athletes were all under 10% when their body might not be able to maintain that.

Yo for all the ppl saying 14% ain’t fat, we are talking about athletes here. 14% body fat for an athlete is DEFINITELY fat, especially a major league athlete. Almost every nba player is somewhere in the 5-8% range, so being literally DOUBLE that is basically obese. For a normal person, 14% is perfectly fine, but this dude is literally a professional athlete.

How did his agent allow the T-Wolves to low ball his client with that type of contract? $24M for 3yrs in this time and age for a 6th man of the yr is criminal.. He has to get that contract renegotiated asap... He's esily worth upwards of $20M/yr using current salary trends..

Dude never looked fat in any of these pics or highlights, but I get from a professional standpoint, your body has to be in top tier shape. But going from 256, to 237, doesn’t seem like he was overweight by much.
