This pop solo composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal saab and penned by the versatile Anand Bakshi saab has an aesthetic feel that cloaks it. The prelude of 67 seconds in the original is hypnotising and Gorakh Sharma on the Electric Guitar did the wonder, followed by Solo Bass Guitar and French Horn and you must have noted Apoorvaji how the symphony simply reverberated and resounded. Then the first interlude commenced with French Horn and Violins, second 'interlude' is filled of a Solo Electric Guitar while the third 'interlude' picks up with Symphony Violins. Now whereas you, Apoorvaji were pre-eminent like the great Rafi saab but the synergy of the background Orchestra was limping, languishing and trailing behind you. Like the original, the instruments used here could not make there presence felt in the interludes and this song rises to climactic heights, not only because of the maestro's flawless voice, but also because of this aspect of the preludes and the three interludes and their distinctively highly piercing and shrill pitch was a high point of the music in the original which sadly was missing and wanting in this case. I have already observed that your superb voice quality is and as ever shall remain your USP Apoorvaji and you deserve every credit for your dedicated application in this rendition as well.
