I replayed that naz reid drive like 10 times. the handle and intuition is stunning. The way he just feels his way to the hoop. It’s like he’s crossing the dude up all the way from half court lol. and then being able to finish with the other defender there as well.. pretty crazy..
The steal, the in-and-out dribble, the huge step-through gather, the slick reverse 🤌🤌. He does stuff like this often, as a Wolves fan it’s been a pleasure to watch
Pretty easy to solve: a) Eastern-European/Slavic strong genetics *plus* + b) 6'11" true center, 284 lbs, 7'3" wingspan, refrigerator build, has a modest vertical leap with extraordinary "Magic"-like passing skills that cover the entire court, on a high -quality team *equals* = MVP 🔥🔥🥇🔥🔥
Jalen Suggs at #4; "where we always get up off the floor". Someone needed to say it. "Where have you gone, Goatmentator Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you Woo, woo, woo." 🤣 🤣 🤣
No, it was neither blatent nor a travel since he took the allowable three steps. You just don't know the NBA travel rules and didn't use slo-mo to review the play (use the gear icon). He "gathered" the ball on his left foot, then took two steps to come to a stop on his left foot as a planted "pivot foot" at which point the right foot becomes irrelevant. He is then allowed to jump off the pivot foot and the non-pivot foot. Perfectly legal in the NBA.
He didn't dribble the ball once after getting the pass dude. He took 4 steps and shot the deep 3. You telling me my eyes are deceiving me? I'm just being critical of refs not calling obvious travels. I don't like Lebron all that much but I hate the lazy refs even more.
@@imfinishedgrinding638 You didn't read the MBA rules. you didn't use the video slo-mo feature to watch the play (use the gear icon), and you didn't count the steps correctly. Step one he gathers on the left, step two is the right foot, and step three he plants the left as his pivot foot. Those are the three (3) steps allowed per the NBA travel rules as revised in 2019. Not a travel.
Reid play should be number 1. A guy who’s 7+ feet tossing it off the glass just isn’t that impressive to me. Now a 6’10” 260 lb dude with THOSE handles and footwork? That’s fcking impressive.
Nope. You just don't know the NBA travel rules or you didn't use slo-mo. He "gathered" the ball on his left foot, then took two steps to come to a stop on his left foot as a planted "pivot foot" at which point the right foot becomes irrelevant. Perfectly legal in the NBA.
If it wasn't a travel by modern day rules, I have to give up watching NBA basketball and start watching Dagestani basketball from khabibs UFC training partners. It's equal amount of traveling and at the same time more physical.
@@spyroskaziannis788 You might want to consider the numerous benefits of the new NBA rules including: less whistles, more action, more excitement, more threes, more dunks, more wind-up dunks, the Harden step-back three, the LeBron/Giannis spin move down the lane, more threes from the corner due to feet resets, more exciting handles (dribbles), more exciting passes, higher scoring, more fans, more viewers, more fun). Or not.
Or are the Lakers too bad ... DLo couldn't hit a shot to save his life, they ignored AR who shoots the best percentage, they ignored hitting open teammates (who needs teamates?), silly DLo and LBJ turnovers, Lebron inbounding to Rui for the half-court turnover instead of his streaking point guard, LBJ and AD team up for multiple misses 1 foot under the basket. Bron goes stumbling awkwardly out of bounds (not the first time) driving in clutch time .... sigh ... don't get me started. 🤦🏻♂
He took the allowable gather step plus the two allowable additional steps. You should read the NBA travel rules and use the video slo-mo feature (use the gear icon) to review the play. He "gathered" the ball on his left foot, then took two steps to come to a stop on his left foot as a planted "pivot foot" at which point the right foot becomes irrelevant. Perfectly legal in the NBA.
No, you are just not counting correctly. He took the allowable three steps. and it was not a travel. You just don't know the NBA travel rules or you didn't use slo-mo to review the play (use the gear icon). He "gathered" the ball on his left foot, then took two steps to come to a stop on his left foot as a planted "pivot foot" at which point the right foot becomes irrelevant. Perfectly legal in the NBA.
They don't bother to call Lebron for traveling hardly ever. What a disgrace the league has become. He constantly gets away with charges, travels, flops and even gets rewarded instead of penalized.
The disgrace is when you make these comments out of ignorance. It was not a travel since he took the allowable three steps. You either don't know the NBA travel rules or you didn't use slo-mo to review the play (use the gear icon). He "gathered" the ball on his left foot, then took two steps to come to a stop on his left foot as a planted "pivot foot" at which point the right foot becomes irrelevant. He is then allowed to jump off the pivot foot and the non-pivot foot. Perfectly legal in the NBA. Read. The. Rules.
Nope. Read the NBA rules on use of the pivot foot. He can step with the non-pivot foot and raise the pivot foot as long as he releases the ball before the pivot foot comes back down.
"Yes, Embiid would go down hard, but not after pulling off this maneuver." It WAS after. He didn't fall to the floor in pain and THEN do an alley-oop to himself.
Why is there a rule for travelling if you don’t respect it even in such an obvious one? Carrying the ball, taking 4 steps before the shot and not being called… It kills the game
It was. Embid's been playing hurt since shortly before end of season to ensure the playoffs. Also, you might notice that he is a very big man .. ankles have a hard time with that landing impact off balance or otherwise. 😢

Lebrons shot was a big travel. 5 steps to take a shot in movement is travelling. Why can't they call that a travel. He does that all the time. Make it like in Europe. 2 steps..... no more fake lay out/dunk from the 3 point line
Not GOATmentator. Here are a few poor attempts: 10) Jokic sprinting down for the two handed jam as LeBron tries to block but looks like an old man. 9) At number 9 Rudy rudely slams it in the hole off a quick-as-a-cat pass from KAT that was (over-the-head and) behind-the-back. 8) Coming in at number 8, there's no time left at the half except for Father Time taking a page out of the Dame Time playbook with the deep three served like the Chef had been the cook. Trying to write these makes me realize how hard it is and gives me an ever greater appreciation for the absolute fire the GOATmentator spits.
Jajajaja LJ con su maratón de 6 pasos antes de tirar y embiid con ese desplazamiento de medio metro del pie pivote. Que risa algunos jugadores de la NBA.
