NBA: 1974 playoff finals - Celtics vs Bucks (game 6 2OT and game 7 4th quarter) 

NBA crowds in the 1970s, especially at Boston, seemed on the verge of going on a riot. Completely unlike the stage-managed fourth quarters in pro arenaas today.

I watched this whole series live on tv.. I was fourteen years old

I was a 7 year old Bucks fan in Akron, Oh lol.....Since it was a Friday night, I was permitted to stay up and watch. It lasted past midnight, I think. Wow what an atmosphere. Pat Summerall and Rick Barry were both great on the mic. That Skyhook by Kareem! Then the Celtics won game 7 easily lol. Still a great memory for me.

What a game - and with Pat Summerall on the call! He was so versatile.

Watched this Series as a 3rd grader- first NBA season I followed. I wanted the replica uniform tops they had at the Broadway Department store so badly. Pretty rare to see NBA fan merchandise in those days.

Cowens, Havlicek , and Kareem in there prime. Great times.

I remember watching game 6 and game 7, I was 13 years old at the time growing up as a Bucks fans and watching the Celtics winning game 7. It was very hurting at the time and it still does to this day but the Celtics was just the better team and I forgot Lucius Allen didn't even play in that series but Boston was just better.

Kareem and havlicek were bad men.. perhaps the world's two best players at this point

Rick Barry never broadcast a Celtics game in which he didn't root against them.
