You can eventually change the jerseys. The team owner will arrange a meeting and you will be able to change after you do the event. Mine came in mid-November.

Gento you can change your jersey in Career, your owner will ask to go on a jet ride with you and if you complete that you should unlock the option to change your jerseys before every game.
