Don't know if you figured it out, but I believe to change animations you have to buy them in the shop and then equip them in your inventory.

No Chris, it does let you change your moves. You just have to press triangle and add it to you cart and press square to purchase your animations.

You can change your moves. Go back all the way to the main menu screen. Go to My Player Inventory and beneath overview you'll see NBA/Pro-AM Animations. You'll see NBA Rituals, Celebrations, Shots, etc. You can change to the signature styles you want that you bought with VC.
