Twany Croom he was a 98 I believe I think KG was the highest rated on DC. I remember if you played franchise for some reason Baron Davis and Steve Francis always became 100 overall players.

His rating is based on the 2001-02 season up to that point. 2k2 came out in 2002 on the other consoles on dreamcast he was like an 88.

The Truth lol he was a 93 on Dreamcast, I think when this game dropped on Gamecube and XBOX he dropped to a 96 and Kobe jumped up. The ratings back then were crazy they gave out a bunch of 90s, I mean Zo had a 94 and he averaged like 12 points and 8 rebounds a game with a couple blocks, I think that should give him maybe an 88-90.

@Jamal Rawal the ratings for players from dreamcast to xbox,ps2 and gamecube are different. For example Jordan was an 89 on dreamcast but on the other consoles he was a 93.

@@jamalrawal2668 plus the dreamcast version had ratings prior to the season, the ps2 version dropped before allstar break then the other dropped like 2 weeks later. I wanna say Pierce was a 93 on dreamcast.

Sorry for the late reply the ratings on the original 2k aren't as seamless like these ones. You have to go to the roster lineup to see the ratings the funniest ratings is that Shaq is a 93, Pippen is a 94, AI is a 97, Kobe is a 89 along with Rod Strickland. I just remember those from the top of my head even some 21 years ago cause I was so mad Kobe wasn't at least a 91 and Shaq should've been a 97.

AI was higher on Dreamcast version but the ps2 rosters were made around allstar break when the Nets were rolling.

@@DerekTurner1985 I get the Nets part of it, this was a big year for them. Truth at 98 is a bit high as well but he was an all star and they went to the conference finals with him as the guy so I guess I see that too.

He was nice until they formed that big 3 then his production dropped off big time. He went from being a dude averaging around 26ppg to like 18. I agree he isn't a 98 but I think a 95 would've been fair. Around 2001-2003 you could argue he was a top 10-15 player in the league with KG, Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, T-Mac, Iverson, Webber, Ray Allen, Antoine Walker, Vince Carter, etc. He had a good career but I think him saying he had a better one than Wade hurt him lol. Wade imo is the 3rd greatest SG ever while Pierce may be like a top 15 SF.

Derek Turner 95? thats too high bro PIERCE was never beater then AI and AI is a 94 here. 94+ is for like MVP level players like a Luka, Giannis and all now for example

@@dblocknyc I never said he was better than Iverson but he was in that list of top 15 players. MVP is an opinion based award, the stars of today have far better stats do to the game being faster and more offensive. Old 2k games if you averaged 18+ you were a 90 and above. Iverson definitely shouldn't be lower than Pierce unless they are talking shooting percentages.

Ps2 they had updated rosters that's why Pierce a 98 he was 93 on dreamcast if I remember right

@@beanman3952 Well I stand corrected he was also a 93 on the xbox and ps2 version of the game so it was only the dreamcast version of 2k2 where he was an 89 overall. Even on 2k11 I think his rookie version was like a 90 overall as well.

He was the #1 rated player on the Pacers in 2001 led them in scoring, 2nd in assists and 3rd in boards but basically if you average 20 per game you were a 90 on old 2ks lol

Thanks, honestly I believe the team rating for the 01 Lakers is off I mean they went 15-1 in the playoffs. Team overall should be in the 90's across the board.

He was good back then by good I mean about 20pts a game on old 2k games if you got 20 you were pretty much an 89-92 if you dropped 25 a 95-98 lol.
