6”7-6”8 is the best heights imo for a defender on top of a scorer as you can guard the 1-5 somewhat realistically and get great shooting if you spec it that way. My Rodman build has 96 interior, 92 perimeter, 92 block, 88 offensive, and 93 defensive rebound while having 95 strength and 85 vertical with max accel, stamina, and speed granted it’s offensively a liability but it can still get buckets if you aren’t iced out the game. It’s like comparing a 6”10 to a 7foot the only difference if you spec it as similar as possible is speed and acceleration and that’s it.
I have a similar build, except I went 88 interior D, 93 perimeter, 92 steals, 50 offensive and 93 defensive. I went down on offensive glass since HOF box out beast + tip ins is just fire. It's definitely a build that makes a dominant force on D, and the 86 mid and 76 3s mean you are a very respectable spot up!
Look bro in all honesty I was waiting for someone to speak about this. Especially the 6'7 that hight is the sweet spot. You didn't want to be to slow to keep up with those 6'6 guards. Although they will get loose. When you are in range you get great contest and this build gets anchor.
@@teamggf that height difference from 6”7 to 6”8 is minimal at best. 6”8 doesn’t get max perimeter or steal while 6”7 does however 6”7 doesn’t get gold anchor 🤣
@@tonyj9743 I went offensive rebound to max because I have 90 pass on the build and wanted post playmaker HOF but I sacrificed a lot to do that. Offensive stats are: 90 close shot, 40 layup, 60 driving dunk, 81 standing, 35 post (mostly from the 95 strength), 50 midrange (because of close shot), and a 25 3
@Ramblin_Cyclops at 6'8 you can't get max perimeter or steals, but its the only height where you can get gold post lockdown, clamps, glove, ripper, anchor, rebounds, and HOF box outs simultaneously. That's a hard combination to score on.

It’s not a big difference at all from 6’4 to 6’3 you actually get more at 6’4 when you drop your height it go seem like you have more but some of your stats just drop like standing dunk it’s really no difference 6’4 over 6’3 in my opinion
How is the 7' not in S class? Literally the best big man height. I have a build with 93 standing all gold badges, 93 mid/82 3pt. 93 rebound gold chase down and workhorse. HOF immovable. This height has the most versatility and allows you to do it at a very high level. 6'6 and 7' are the Meta's.
Idk that 6’8 should be S tier. You can make 1-5 with that height and dominate with each position. You can also get a lot of attributes for that height. The 6’3 might be S tier as well. It just depends on if Tyceno is using it 😂.

6’4 is a great height for shot creators. My 6’4 shot creating 3-level threat go crazy. To be real tho, any of these heights can be dangerous if you got high IQ.
I made a 6'1" realistic build of myself. I know it isn't ideal, but I have max weight and never make builds without defense so I have hella fun with it. I get why it isn't recommended though
6’7 definitely A tier if not S tier when utilized correctly. My 6’7 got 90 mid 88 ball handle 87 lay 84 pass 87 perimeter 85 stl 85 speed 80 block 84 str 99 free throw & I play all game modes just fine
the problem is y'all are giving recommendations without knowing peoples playstyles. Y'all are basically telling people to play the META... I love it though my 6'1 PG shits on builds from 6'1 to 6'8.. been making the same build since 2k18

thats my main build for park. not sure how its a B tier height especially if you make it a C/PF. you can get some insane defensive stats with its while having good shooting. i have yet to be bullied by other taller/post scoring bigs because of how quick and strong you can be. Not to mention you can get HOF challenger which is crucial to stopping those cheesy wanna be hook shots.
I love my 7 ft center. He can shoot midrange, 3pt, dunk, post score, play elite defense, rebound, and has 90 passing. I get enough speed to keep up with smaller players and enough strength and block to hold my own against anyone in the paint. I’m starting to plan out my rebirth as I get closer to 99
I think you missed it with 6’9… I have a 3 level threat that can guard 1-4 and dominate in the mid range, hit 3s, grab rebounds and gets blocks.. C level is way too low
I average 21 Reb in the rec w a 7’0 pf and then 6’9s be giving me problems sometimes idk why it’s easier to score on 6’11 and up than it is on a 6’9 or 6’8 down low
Made a 6’4 and 6’8 guard with 6’10 and 7’1 Center pretty goated heights imo Definitely thinking about that 6’6 height not sure if I want a lockdown at 6’7
I wanted to know more about the point distribution, because the points you spend on rebounding for a, say, 6'3" worth differently than a 6'11". Does the paid service at 2klab have a table/calculator like that? Might that be more beneficial to address what height is "meta" than this intuition-based version? Just my 2 cents.

Are these build heights tested based on the tiers you’ve placed them in? Or it’s what you’ve notice based off popular builds in the community? Because 6’8 builds are OP
My 6’9 2 way 3 level threat is S tier with 25 gold and 8 hof badges builds 6’6 and smaller are too small and bigs are too slow the post scoring ability make it hard to stop with gold post spin fades and hooks ima walking mismatch

All need is a good jumper I promise I got 2k week and uh half ago couldn't shoot for nothing found great jumper now I green consistently I went from shooting %17.7 to %50.3
I think we can squeeze 7ft in s tier. 7ft does it all, post game, post hook cheese you can get 80 to 85 3pt and mid and u not slow we talking hof finishing gold defensive and silver shooting and if u know how to work the builder some silver playmaking.
I'm glad you can afford to spend that much money on builds.... but man ppl like you are making this game worse for ppl who don't want to spend $100's ever year on a video game. Eventually because of ppl like you and content creators... 2k will get bold and start charging real money for each attribute upgrade!

I went with 6’9 I want to guard the 1-5 and wanted to keep clamps. I have 90 strength 87 block 80 vert 87 pd and a 92 middle 85 pc. Sorta Julius randle with a better post/ middle game
