It’s cheap and tacky. All-time teams shouldn’t be in this mode period. Most people are going to be around 85-99 overalls why do you need a full lineup of all time players to compete? It dumbs the game mode down. It was better in the beginning of the year when it was current teams only. They probably thought they were making it more casual and easy but in reality it makes it harder for a casual having to go against players with 20 HOF badges on defense…. players like me will stomp anyone regardless and the casual will suffer. Annoying all around.
They should consider bringing back the 2k16’s passing system. When you press the X button when a pass was already coming your way, the game won’t consider the X button you already pressed. All the versions after 16 pass automatically when pressing X button when a pass is already coming your way, it’s kinda bad.
I feel like it's like this with other inputs too. You went for a fake or a shot attempt, got stuck in some animation, try to override that shot fake/shot attempt with a newer and different input but the game is still stuck on the one from 2-3 secs ago.
Ngl I was stunned watching Smoove get cooked like that in the second game lol, but that man is the GOAT! Love seeing him come up with tough wins against cheesy 2k players.
Picking the all time lakers AND off balling in starting 5 is crazy business. I get it if it’s PNO and you care about your record, but really? On starting 5?
