Hyping up locks when nobody on the court has any sig dribble animations is wild lmao not saying locks wont be good but lets chill out.. dribble sigs for a Pg is probably the most important thing a Pg can have to counter all this
@dylans368 at the same time, these are locks that don't have like gold or hall of fame fast feet, which basically allows them to speedboost on offense if a pg tries to burst on them. This is gonna be a year of skill
@@afroshima492 no yeah but also everyone playing doesn’t have Gold or HOF anything. Im just saying we should all wait before hyping up any build as if its gonna be meta already lol thats how you waste money on a build
@@dylans368 lol thats what im saying like all these badges are bronze and everyone should know the moment them PGs get their animations its gonna be way harder to guard
@@TomaHawkHodge ahh I get what you mean. I don't understand why people be meta hunting anyways. Half these mfs be out here with $200 put into made youtube builds to still be ass 😂😂
Dont get me wrong its good defense but it makes a bit of sense after he said everybody has default sigs. There aren’t really any sigs a lock has to choose but a PG has all of his sigs to choose from
My opinion I think this is how defense needs to be, and how it should be. You gotta make it so offensive players are scared of defenders, and make them pay the consequences for trying to attack them it’s that simple.
@@6ixR0ll It’s a video game based on realistic sim basketball so it should be realistic. You don’t see guards holding the ball 24 seconds, and don’t see perimeter players try and attack players like Marcus smart or bring the ball up recklessly when they are getting locked up now do you? No they do something called idk, PASSING THE BALL, and pick and choose there opportunities to attack the defense. For example Stephan curry arguably the best offensive guard in the league gets guarded by an elite defender right, what do you think he does? He lets draymond bring the ball up the court and plays off ball. He goes around screens and makes plays for himself if they close out he dribbles a small bit and drives etc. basketball is a very simple game, it really isn’t very complicated. Even Lebron when guarded by someone like kawahi or Paul george elite defenders plays patiently and waits for his opportunities to score, and runs a patient offense that’s all I’m saying.
@@Shiftyyy_ no one said they did, however there is schemes teams run periodically throughout the full game, for example 1-2-2 half court press zone where the best defender does pick up the point guard full court even if it is a half court press. Then it usually typically shifts into a 2-3 zone or a 3-2 zone, for example that’s what the heat ran in the playoffs a majority of the time they played a press. So yes it is pretty realistic, they don’t do it all game but they do apply pressure and play aggressively on defense as they should periodically. Not to mention other players also try and get a sneaky steal from behind every now and again out of a press. So yeah just so you know. I do however think stamina should play a more important role than it does so you can’t full court press without getting tired fast so they can’t do it all game and have to blend it in a scheme, and blend it in with man or zone defense.
We don't know if defense is good or not like u said its Default animations we Have to wait until the game drops to see if defense is really good or not
Honestly this isn’t showing much as far was how dangerous a lock can really be. Everyone on that court has bronze badges. That’s good you can play defense but might as well wait til after season one over with cause we know if lockdowns are OP. They getting touched in someway just like every year they also do. But good gameplay and good stuff
