2k has reached the peak graphically bro it's a basketball game we want to know about how the basketball feels in the game is adrenaline back are animations still random with no consistency are my icon passing buttons still gonna get locked is myteam still a casino it's it's a month and half away we should be getting answers to these questions by now and we at least have a garbage gameplay trailer with fancy camera angles that don't really tell us anything about gameplay at the bare minimum this company is a joke and I pray that another company arrives and tries to make a nba basketball game so we can stop having to deal with 2k's horrible business decisions just to play a basketball game
Are they going to improve their depiction of transition basketball where we can actually execute real fastbreaks without being warped in animations with defenders 20 miles behind. Or when I legitimately blow by a defender with a lane to the basket and my player slows down to get warped in an animation with the defender. Are we going to have faster gameplay in general. Are good defenders not going feel weightless to the point they feel like they sliding on ice. Are going to make mycareer and park play more of a grind than money grab?
I just want the gameplay to actually be good. But that won't happen because there's no competitor for 2K to get better in terms of everything. Also, NBA 2K25 Jayson Tatum looks downgraded
I really love how games like FC , NBA , NFL and all this use SO MUCH AFTER EFFECT AND PHOTOSHOP to make the game looks better and when you buy it its just the same game from 7 years ago 😅
Idk how people say this 2K21-23 were all completely garbage imo. I remember playing blacktop on 2k22 with Melo and I could barely get a face up Jumpshot off without getting immediately blocked before the ball left the hands smh. 19 imo was the last playable 2K.

I really do feel that almost all historic players need a complete overhaul. Many scans were from 2k15 and even before that. 2k has shown they got a lot better at making faces. Might as well redo all old players

After moving to New gen the changes in graphics are very minimal. PC mods with old gen graphic looking better than new gen.

What Next gen are you spouting about. 2K22 and 2k23 is when they upgrade to New Gen of console and PC that's is why there is a difference version for PS5 and PS4. Any upgrade in the same Gen (PS5 & Xbox X) is very minimal. But that isn't the point of the post above as people who buy new 2K games aren't for Graphics but for the community (Player base and match making).
i've never been a big aesthetic guy in games if it isn't a story based game, if im playing ball virtually idc if i have a brown shirt and see the sweat fall of my players arms. for something like GOW or RDR2 then ya its crazy, but personally i'd rather that graphic effort be put into getting even 1 less ms removed from the latency.
Tbh, if you've been playing 2k from long ago, I'm not giving them props for this lighting. Its nothing new. Remember 2k14 had amazing lighting then they gave us worst lighting in the games after for whatever reason. So if anything I'm just glad they are getting back to where the game was in the first place
people keep on saying they just recreate the same game every year which is somewhat true, but the mycareer experience gets better after every 2k, online is a different story

3:17 - Seems like their tapping into the other part of the consoles power which could explain why there they are calling nba 2k25 - "New Gen" which i feel is a mini step up from next gen = Better lighting textures and addons and so on Are they fully next gen upgrades no but its something to show the difference between next-gen and new gen. Now if they could only fix their gameplay and have people playing the game more then 2 months
As a next gen the graphics are not that impressive for a simulation game. If it’s an arcade game then I would be impress but the game looks real but cartoony at the sametime. The skin looks too shiny or something.Plus their expression always look off and each dude smiles are similar when in motion.

nba 2k14 especially 2K16 looks a lot better overall than the newer ones. How is that possible. Nba is not a children's game, it must be a real basketball simulation. We need realistic graphics ( not cartoon), basketball hoop and ball physics, player physics (like 2K16). Nothing is left of what basketball is. Wake up, same crap every year. Everything can be done "2KGames" you just need to work, not only think about money.

They always make the current game look darker on the screenshots comparisons. Go back and look at the comparisons of 23/24 and you’ll see 23 is darker. The game fan only get so dark. Come on Pakk you gotta do better
