It's impressive to see Jack Sikma making it onto the list during the late '80s; the guy was a center!

Bill Sharman's 88.3 is more impressive when one realizes equipment in the fifties was far less consistent. Also, the equipment has improved a lot since Barry shot 90% underhanded.
@ColonelSpankysLostBattalion
What equipment improved? The ball? The hoop? The backboard? The floor?

@@ColonelSpankysLostBattalion The ball manufacturer and testing improved significantly since Sharman. The rim since Barry and just the expenses put into the game. The floors are of course much better but doesn't really effect free throw s. The Boston Garden was infamous for dead spots and the myth is Bird knew every imperfection making it into an additional defender.

People don't understand how much fundamental and focus/shooting skills it takes to make free throws, usually after getting fouled. And I noticed two things, MJ was so great that even thou he isn't known to be a fundamental shooter, he made it on this list for shooting freebies at 0.85%. Also, Ray Allen is too impressive for someone who was able to adapt his game and became a great shooter.

0.8% is less that 1 of 100 shots taken. You took ‰ instead of %

Dude? Why did you put Croatian flag with Peđa Stojaković, he is Serbian.

There must be some extra qualifier here. Surely somebody in NBA history got in, went to the line once and sunk them both, then got cut.

0.8% is not the same as 80%

You are correct. I can make .8% with both of my eyes closed. And facing the opposite goal.
