In this video we look at nba analysts praising Anthony Bennett. Anthony Bennett was one of the biggest busts in NBA history. He was drafted #1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Yeah but Lebron was a no brainer, not only was he THAT guy, a high school prodigy who didnt even have to play in college to be considered nr 1, but also he was their local superstar from suburbs of Cleveland (Akron). They had to draft him, the choice was made the minute he declared his own eligibility. Even a sports team from Cleveland couldn't fuck it up.
They didn’t seem to be wrong with what they saw. He just didn’t on out in the NBA. I don’t think the necessarily said anything wrong based on the evidence they were given.
That’s what I’m saying you put on his college tape I don’t see nothing wrong. He even handles in transition your modern day forward right now. Idk what went wrong with him. He did take a lot of jump shots as a Rookie. Maybe he destroyed his confidence before he even got it. What a shame
Didnt fit the NBA... or the G League... or the Turkish League, since he played there too and they cut him by waiving his contract, didnt even bother trying to sell him... as another poster said under another Bennett's video, his biggest weakness was basketball. Lmak
Btw hes currently playing... in Puerto Rico, presumably he was too weak to play in any European league. I wonder why wont he go to China, i know he might struggle there too if he gor waived in mf Turkey but you never know, maybe some smaller team... if he managed he could probably make millions there
The job of a scout or an analyst is to see if a player can perform in the NBA and not to see what he can do against children that are thinking about homework more than basketball.
Damn he had a lot of moves. I guess nothing translated to the NBA. I know it's rough out there but he's back now. HOU signed him I think. HOU always doing some weird shit so I guess he got a chance to redeem
Watch his "highlights" from the NBA, he does the exact same moves. He could handle the strength of NBA players and he literally could not hit a single pull up. He was never a good player but he's mentality was his biggest downfall had no work ethic.
Haha look at the "top 5 available players". None of them turned into legit stars. Where's Giannis, Gobert, CJ or Oladipo? At least the guy said that he saw Bennett as #6. That there saved his ass
@@KingBirdy What do you mean dumb. It's the analysts that are dumb. No analysis being provided only being paid as a loud obnoxious mouthpiece to generate clicks.
At least it worked out for the Cavs. But dang what a bust. Don’t forget if Noel didn’t get hurt, he was supposed to go number 1. But for real that top 5 should had been Giannis, CJ, Victor, Rudy and Adams.
I mean bro, they didn’t say anything wrong, they go off production in college and how they can fit in the league. It’s up to the player to work hard atp, Bennett just folded.
There just was not a clear cut number one coming in to this draft....he was kinda the default choice but as I recall there wasn’t someone who stood out amongst the crowd going in to that draft
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🛑” uhh, ya’know, we’re busting Bennett’s balls but what about all these journalists and analysts who were bulleye right on the money if the target was an wide open trashcan.
I will say those highlights are interesting to say the least. If he had a good work ethic or the right mentality, maybe he wouldn't have become the worst draft bust of all time, but we'll never know.
I don’t understand how you can be ridiculous good player in college then just be a bust in the league not even a 12&10 type player shit your close to 7 feet bro
Lol not at all, even if he stays on his current level he will be a starter in the league for a long time. Biggest bust of all time is either Bennett or Darko.
