When the Pelicans resign him and he takes the Pels to the finals, he will then start making all star games again. But right now he is just a product of the moment. Injured at the wrong time. Although Zion who has been injured at the wrong time every year and never made a playoff game is still overrated, but BI will continue to be underrated until he gets them to the finals. But if he stays with the Pels, he will continue to be the team's best player.
We blew several leads last year. We could have had at least 55 wins. That is not counting overtime losses!. Do you think we will have 55 wins next year? I doubt it!
To be honest Murray is the only answer for the Pels. I’m not entertaining anything with Trae Young in it. I don’t want an undersized guard that doesn’t play D and jacks up 3s. Fans want him only because he’s more popular but I’m good on it. He doesn’t play winning basketball imo and the ECF run was a fluke as we clearly saw. Give me Murray 12/10 much more complete player on a better contract. His defense will be elite again when he plays for the Pels. He would be playing in his natural position
I'm going to miss BI, but yeah Pels clearly need to do something different. Okongwu seems full of potential. So many different variables, need to take advantage of Zion now.
Going back to his San Antonio days I remember him. He was my choice overall. I think it make a bigger impact then what some people think. It could take us to another level to compete.

Best ones could be received are future Rockets, Pelicans, or Bucks pics, all of which will be devalued due to all 3 teams competing. Hawks wouldn’t want to accumulate salary due to pushing the cap. Only pick the Hawks would probably want would maybe be 21 from the Pels, but they already have the top pick in the draft. Dillion could bring position versatility whether the pick is one of the two French players. Dillion could probably play 2 through 4 depending the looks that want to be ran, instead of having redundancy between Trey and Dejonte.
