demonza needs to put some bass in his voice man always mumbles i cant hear unless i crank up the volume which is ok when he talks but sounds like nick is talking through a megaphone
Hey Nick! Big fan of the show and I’ve been watching since the VERY beginning. I don’t usually give suggestions or make comments. But I have one that I hope you may consider. Please have demonza speak more. Views for the channel have been dropping which makes me sad because the production has gone up so there’s a disconnect with the listeners somewhere. You speak for a majority of the show which of course is because it’s your show. However, it can be overwhelming at times listening to just you for 60 min +. Break it up and give him or maybe new guest time to speak so your opinions have more value. Your greatest quality Nick is your ability to debate. Which we never really get to see since you’re just debating yourself half the time. Either way, I love how far the show has come and hope to see its continued growth! BIG THANKS to you and all staff involved‼️💯
i do agree. as much as i find nick's debating/arguring entertaining, hearing him just rumble on about tom's article in the first 15 mins is boring lol. for a lot of these podcasts i just click straight to the part where demonza is in and they start actually talking about topics. FTF is so good is because Wilde is very good at managing the pace so it doesnt feel long and boring.
I would like to hear more of demonza but at least buy me looking at the numbers it looks like the change in viewership is largely due to the ending of football season.
hahaha, Nick telling stories is great. The story with Phil Ivey is a classic. Still, my personal favorite goes back to Nick talking about how he hustled Wildes out of $20 when the First Things First guys went bowling. That one will be hard to beat.
Nick, I am English & live in England. Fan of the show. America has a fundamental issue in regards to football (soccer). You regard it as a rich person's game. The world regards it as the people's game. There is nothing you can do in 2 years to get a good bunch of players in. The problem is systemic. You cannot draft, transfer or trade players into international teams - so you need to nurture them. Children age 5 and up need to be plsying in parks / on the street for free. That happens across the world. That's what you are up against.
Angel didn’t set the rookie record, she set the WNBA record for consecutive and will almost certainly set the WNBA record for most in a season plus she’s the leading rebounder in the whole league. Shattering expectations
20:45 I'm a Sixers fan and I love Embiid and Kawhi playing in the Olympics. Yes, there is an injury risk. But, playing 15-20 minutes is great for them just to get their bodies "warmed up" for the season.
The same Tom Hoberstroh that wrote that article said Jordan as a defender during that year was " amazing " " The most athletic " " played like he was transported from another planet "
@@RyanD2558 Inflated or not, he was still the DP that year. Number of steals or being the steals leader during a season is not always an indicator of who wins DPOY, if so Chris Paul should have won at least once, he never did. Funny no one ever mentioned the guy who should have won that season. lol.
The Knicks comp to the Celtics Is somewhat inaccurate. Boston would definitively be better based on how he described the match-ups, but he completely neglected a bull in a china closet at PF in Randle. who can’t be guarded 1 on 1 by anyone on Boston which was their claim to fame on defense throughout their run this year.
The lakers future is blick in season tournament banners to hireing a poscaster to drafting brony wich im fine with but giveing him a guaranteed contract is my big issue yes i think thains being part of the problem to in the nba were lot guys who r 2nd rounders are not garentted money missing out on klay harden and jonas they have no trade value on there roster right now there rival in the east has Bright future and high chance to repeat and stay relevant for the next 6 years
Wouldn't the money in soccer argument only pan out if there was viewership? I don't really feel like there's much interest in US soccer outside of the World Cup. So, no, I don't believe there would be as much money in soccer nationally as there is internationally, where it's far and away the biggest sport. As Daniel Tosh said, "This is America. We've got better things to do than to watch grown men run around for 90 minutes to end in a zero-zero tie."
@ElevatorErnie1 really a better team? The Nuggets had a top 3 pick for a reason. That reason is they sucked the prior year and missed the playoffs. The Cavs won more games than the Nuggets the prior year as well, so please come with facts and not your feelings! Also, the western conference was tougher than the eastern conference in 2003-2004, so making the playoffs was tougher!
New rule: If Lebron constantly keeps choosing to play for the Lakers even though he knows they have a bad FO then none of his Stans get to complain. If you have a buddy whose wife keeps on repeatedly cheating on him and he keeps on forgiving her and staying with her, after awhile he just doesn’t get to complain about her cheating anymore.
Nick - you’re sounding redicuoius with your takes on the Laker front office. You have some the context of having LeBron on the team and you still can’t read between the lines and acknowledge you don’t know at least half of what the plans and actions are behind the scenes. This is coming from a diehard Kobe and Laker fan and La native. Snapping your fingers or acting like a needy child doesn’t mean any organization is going to get what they want. You’re better than that.
@@karmandhillon4329 maybe, maybe not. we don’t know who all would have gotten injured if the season was normal, but everyone got the same amount of time off, so it’s fair. Besides, the Lakers was one of only two teams that voted to leave the bubble but they won anyway. They were also the #1 seed and had to play without home court advantage, so it’s not like they were especially well off in the bubble.
Prove it! Even if he did, why do you worship such a viscous god? He offered up his son as a blood sacrifice? Couldnt he just have forgiven us? Your god is weird!
Still going on about Jordan? Man, you're mad that Jordan's the GOAT without question. It hurts you, Nick. You need to get help and accept him as your lord and savior.
