@@artificialintelligence7988 bro you obviously dont watch the NBA then if you think PG's defense is overrated 😂 even after his leg injury he was locking down the opponent's star game in and game out
I think the reason this exists for him more than a lot of other stars is because many other stars are not guarding the opposing teams best player. But it has been some bad luck too.
That shot took so much skill and poise. Can’t wait for us to be able to go to games again. Hope next season will be able to let us back in towards the end
@@kefkapalazzo1 We'll have to wait until the 2021 playoffs is probably the best case scenario. However, I don't expect to be able to go to the games until the 2020 - 21 season tbh.
That's his assignment. The screen cleared him out and his teammates had to switch on. Didn't get hit over him but which is worse: game winner gets hit over you or game winner gets hit by the guy you were supposed to defend cuz you're not even in the play?
To be fair an 11 minute highlight video normally has way more highlights. This video is just a handful of plays on repeat from a bunch of different angles. PG an elite defender
Nah he got burned a couple times. Biting on fakes. Markannan blew by him and got his shoulders past him. He’s good. But everyone, including him thinks he’s better thank he is
Y’all don’t realize the significance, he was put against the ball handling in crunch time and failed a couple times, now imagine how many times he locked them up? All the greatest blockers of all time got dunked on a couple times, same thing applies here. The fact he was on ball defending with the game on the line speaks volumes
@@KCMMFB yeah. It's uncommon for someone to be guarding someone for the game winner this amount of times but in every time (there's more outside of this video) he's folded especially when half of them are him going for fakes like Markannen's for example He's played solid defense during games but as far within the final seconds no cause cause either Kawhi is guarding him, this happens or they were never put in that situation to start with Unless you can name a few times?
the way claw palmed the ball outta post , then shimmied to left shoulder still palming the ball LOL , dat gonna confuse any defender, it was like 2k animation glitch
DWade looked badass when he waved his hands off to call iso play against PG, like "okay, let's dance". You can also tell how Lebron trusted to call Wade to take the shot.
Moral of the story of PG is guarding you on the game winning shot don’t matter who you are or where you are on the court you are going to make it on him😂
I can lowkey make an hour one on lebron james, how ? I'll take the entire fucking after celebration, other videos on it, and extend everything, this video is more like 2 minutes long, but including like 10 or 9 minutes worth of useless celebrations and countless replays
Man, this cannot be just misfortunate. Can someone analyze why this is happening? Maybe the timing he pressures the ball? Because from what I see, maybe except the LeBron drove by he overplayed a bit, the rest are just better offense.
I think on the Kawhi game winner he reached for the ball early and then bunny hopped to compensate for that that, putting himself out of position for the contest on the jumpshot
This is what happens when you have to guard their best offensive player, good defence but even better offence. At least he takes on the challenge, a lot of players don't.
Antoine Carter so what about Booker, Lillard, Wade, Leonard, lebron, kemba ? Not good enough for you? Even wiggins, Jeff green, Rudy gay have all dropped 40+ in a game, Markkanen and Morris might not be superstars but are better than average shooters/scorers. Morris was the only consistent player the Knicks had this year until they traded him. A lot of stars save their energy for offence and let someone else defend the other teams best players instead of matching up on them. If you play you would know that you can play great defence on someone and they can still hit the shot on you unless you actually block it. But hey, what do I know, your the expert 🤣
J Biggins, sure let's talk about Booker and Wade both of those were fouls and still dropped lol. I get it Great O over good D any and every day, but buddy sure does find himself in these situations pretty consistently. I also wouldn't be surprised if there's a compilation vid of his missed go ahead attempts on offense. Paul George is simply the worst clutch star (offense or defense) in NBA history period 🤣🤣🤣
