This video came on when i wasnt paying attention when all the sudden i hear the creepiest speech ever from a Godspeed you! Black emperor song that i haven't heard in several years. I am overcome with a wave of both nostalgia and terror. All because of a video about basketball...
This audio . . . "Blah blah blah sea of blackness blah blah blah I penetrated through this corridor blah blah blah dark serpentines . . . " What was the original sermon even about? It sounds like a Mormon fundamentalist speaking, especially with the mention of Urim and Thummim, sacred stones or garments from Exodus 28 that hold a special place in Mormonism (part of the whole reading-tablets-in-a-hat schtick). What a strange song. Does anyone know where this comes from?
