@@realspitter2727 unpopular fact, yes everyone plays a part but the producer/beat maker is the most important piece. No one wants to hear a song with just lyrics because there’s no feeling in that but if it’s just the beat you can still catch a vibe & feel the music. Also long ago music started with just drums & sounds all around the world no lyrics.

I’ve recorded hundreds of songs for artists and myself and I feel the best moments recording are made outside of the studio! It’s like painting a picture at the park vs in your art studio.

Yb is def over hyped.his first album was fire no skips but every sense then he hasn't an album like that sense then. He's had like 10 good songs in the last 6 years. But now all his songs are good. That's 10 songs between multiple albums
YB needs to fire this guy. Last few albums have sounded like shit. Not mixed/mastered/engineered well at all. Sick of these engineers thinking it’s cool to drown out artists vocals in auto tune and reverb. Shit sounds trash. Same goes for Lil Baby. Can’t even enjoy the music.
It's not the reverb and auto tune that makes it bad so you're off on that one, it's their actual style of mixing that's trash af and like he said they record pretty much anywhere. So the vocal quality is going to suffer. Getting a good raw vocal is pretty much the most important part
