2k is in a weird spot, they need to decide if they want the game to be sim or arcade and stick to that. Also the game has a horrible single player experience. And last, it’s an officially licensed NBA game and that’s the least used part of the game.

@@brutalsimnot true, of course games are gonna have bad things in them like the hop step cheese & pump fake cheese in 2k11 but the overall experience was still fun. 2K is not like this anymore for multiple reasons. -Content creators & ppl copying them having no identity, it wasn’t like this before - also the era we live in now people are just soft, everyone wants the fastest and easy way. Games should be a challenge and that’s what makes it fun having actual skill and out smarting your opponent, that’s just not the culture or mindset any more

The game was fun for me. I uninstalled it because I kept getting kicked out of rec games because of server connectivity issues. My biggest issue with 2k is the annual release. 2k and Madden should both be live service games. There is no need to release a new game every year.

After 18 I didn’t play until 21 so I can’t speak on them 2ks but 21 and 22 was trash for me and then 23 was alright it jus needed 24 defense, this year it’s trash cause we have to deal with stupid things like the uncontrollable out of bounds animations, delay/latency, full court passes don’t make sense it’s like their just random the dude will be wide open and miss or drop the ball and then badge system its just idiotic whoever came up with this game needs to be fired, I do appreciate the defense this year tho

I think we are all suffering from franchise fatigue. We need something new and fresh. 2k may have emptied out their entire clip. And in result, their demise came faster than expected, and the game/franchise may have ran it's course. I don't see anything new they can possibly introduce to make the game better. They literally tried everything as we suffered, dealing with constant updates. 2k is DEAD!

I'm glad there's no more mega grind on 2k. I work all day. I like that I can play for a few hours and get off and not feel like I'm missing out on too much. I also don't dislike the top 10 system. Yeah, it's nice to be able to stop grinding after getting something, but they're attribute boosts. The top players in the NBA can't stop grinding or someone else will take their spot. Same thing with top 10. Great video, though, Brute. It's true that people complain about 2k every year. I just play it til I get tired of it, then switch games for a bit til I want my basketball fix again.

I ain’t played like in 3 weeks, I’ve been playing since AI was in the front cover on Dreamcast, I’m rank 3 this season and I can truly say that it’s not the Game that’s trash for me, it’s the ppl selling and not wants to move and start selling! I played one game yesterday! One!!! Right people just be following what they hear other ppl say. If ppl play the game and use what jumpshot or animations work for them and not what a youtuber or 2klab say then it would create a better variety and a different experience. 2k24 been fun for me using a 5'10 and it's been great. I think because 2k made the game more realistically and ppl can't cheese as much as they used to they just wanna complain. If you play the game and play it like basketball irl you would find it to be so much more better.

I don’t think 2k is trash, but it’s definitely become repetitive. Not a whole lot they can do about that for me. I usually play 200-250 rec games a season. I’m only at 57 this season. The last week, I hope on and drop my 25-30 and bounce after one game. Dropped 52 first game on last night and bounced to play MLB. I guess I’m fatigued with it. It also didn’t help that I played one game early yesterday and one game last night, started in the purple plate and was in gold after those two wins, including dropping 52

I think the issue when it comes to 2k is that when we the viewer ask the said content creator to speak on it most of the times they have some underlying in their statement and honestly when it comes to change with games like 2k the non content creators gotta speak up, and more speaking up with there Wallet cuz with all this creator program 2k is offering content creators they play a role in how this game is, some really don't be truly honest and some play middle ground. cuz they don't want to fuck the bag up the bag I get it but for the sake of passion for this game that's not good bcuz of them being influencers and having influence over an audience we can truly rely on them to make videos cuz they simple won't do it nor be Truly Honest let alone those who speak with the Devs in person most of the times these game devs not gonna be fully honest even with the influencer

Here’s the truth every year people say that the game is trash starting two months after the release everyone complains that the game is the exact same. You know why because the community finds all the exploits in the first two months all the creators put out the best bill videos And a met that runs through the whole year. The fact is that none of these games are bad but majority of people only play the game a certain way that’s not Kay’s fault that’s the community and the way that we play the game there’s so many moves in this game that virtually nobody does, there’s so many different styles that have yet to be explored basically because it’s not the meta-and if you play a certain way, like we saw with Black cobra you get clown for it and told it won’t work in a competitive setting.

i wouldn't really say trash but the whole shooting thing had turn me off. I had love my build on defense tho. Had some fun games when i decided not to take it seriously but then i just ended up moving on to sim racing and nah look back lol

2k devs are like an evil genie. Whenever we asked for something they'll give it to you, but not really. For sure people are never satisfied, there's always critics with any and every game. I can't speak to anyone else, but the price points for everything in this game make it, so you'll never be happy with it. Because the game is not worth the money. You are talking 80 just for the game, then another 100 for 1 complete build. For almost $200 this game HAS to blow it out of the water. I think the nostalgia comes from realizing that, although it wasn't great, it has gotten worse.

You can be aware of something not being good or at it’s potential and still play it… I play my team first time in years and I’m lvl 40 first time also… when I see some lame ass using plays to try to win I laugh at them because it’s corny and the player reactions are corny too… They need a physics update asap

I get my daily reward and maybe finish a rec game. After unlocking the premium moves or whatever I feel like I've beaten the game. So I'm basically stacking boost and gatorade at this point with the enhanced rewards. I'm almost out of gold badges to level set as well. So I'm barely on and I don't have to grind when I am on. I just play and if I don't want to finish a game I just play Helldivers 2 and collect my daily reward tomorrow.

2k became trash when they tied attributes to VC. That made grinding harder and with them trying to please Twitter users it was never consistent.

The problem is, is that y’all still are on consul I left console last year and it was the best decision that I could possibly ever make for gaming to be able to put all the mods in NBA 2K and make the game more realistic with better cyber faces put better courts in the game like vice city, rec centers, etc. it makes the game more enjoyable I’m the type of person who likes the simulation style who likes the game to be realistic? I’m not the type of guy that likes to hoop in mascots and have flying skateboards and jet packs and all that type of stuff I like to gain to be real authentic like real life hooping on street basketball, courts, and stuff like that so being able to have that freedom on PC it makes the game very enjoyable and I think you all should give it a try on PC you can make the game how you want it

@brutalsim 2k trying to cater to everyone is the reason this happens. Also say I hate the long grind and i am very vocal and so is my circle of friends and or followers. the next 2k comes out and they lower the grind way to far we get bored quickly. so next year year after that they go okay here is a shorter grind but it resets every 2 months, then they go "we hear you don't/can't grind like that all year. how about you guys pay for it then"....So a lot of people say man previous years were not so bad.
