I like to train what the player is close to 85 in and get him to an 85 in the area. It’s kind of the elite range then I train their weaknesses but I get them elite in their strengths then brush up their weakness. It still gives the player an identity instead of making all players well rounded
That’s a good method; I’m going to do that from now on. I didn’t want all players to be all around because I wanted them to have an identity of their own but also didn’t want them to only be good at one thing if that makes any sense
@@CarolinaKvngpin Yeah that’s what I’m doing I want them to be good at what they’re good at not too bad or what they’re not good at because realistically not every player is going to be well rounded
I dont care about nothing else but Franchise mode.... the joy I get from building my created team from the ground up via draft, free agency, and of course progression.... nothing like it

Thanks for the nice feedback! My all star weekend in my current expansion series on my channel was cpu cpu play but that’s my experience with it. Coaching can matter but probably more so in simmed or cpu cpu games. I am not sure. I have a MyLeague training video on my channel you might find helpful. I've never played 2k20 and I wanted a casual game play and saw MyLeague, but didn't know what I was doing, saw you videos, thanks for the help! please do more tutorial on how to start off and such!
I have found in player training that if you focus on an attribute and negate other attributes, you will lose ratings on the attributes you do not focus on, so I leave it balanced and them train organically.

Hello, the content seems great. I was out of the 2k loop after 2016 and am getting back in with 2k24. Don't see most of these tabs. And no info available on how to train players properly in 2k24. Is there a resource I can go to for that? Any help would be appreciated. Great video. And thanks.
@@Coach2K I understand how training works in nBA 2k in my league more then i was 7 days ago. but still question is open: i know all around player do everything, two way just scores and defends with less rebounding and passing and other things. do you have your own policy when to train player to be all around and when to train player to be two way ?
for example when i have superb rebounders in power forward or center positions i am more open to train small forward two way with less rebounding and passing. plus now i see that default training templates for nba 2k are bad and i modified then heavly myself creating many my own templates anyway
How do I build my players consistency? if it’s low. Like for an example I’m playing with the Detroit Pistons and my point guard Kalin Hayes Has a 43% Offensive consistency???
Did you make any other video on the progress of the player(Denmon). Did it work it looks ok the slider that I adjusted. but the players mentorship did really work don’t know what is goin on there. Ty for the vid.
No update yet on his training progress. I'll need to get further into the year. I suspect most (if any) gains may occur in the off season progression but not sure yet.
my trainer rating is A (was previous A+) and most people on my team dropped 3 OVR points after a season. why would this happen? my training intensity was very hard

I have one question, when it comes to player training, I always customize it for young players and focus on some attributes, and in the team training I choose "By player type", but I still feel like they don't train individually and how I customized them, and when I check the player development I find the attributes that I wanted to develop are still at 0% progression even after one month of training, I'm talking about 20 yo player with A+ potential with high intensity training, I believe its about the training schedule settings, there is a "circle" on each practice day that turn to yellow if I choose "daily override" to be active which I dont know what it does, is it about this? Is there something I need to do to make turn on individual training? Am I missing something? Plz help
depends on the arch on the graph. for example my lamelo ball is being mentored by derrick rose. his arc says he’s gonna get the badge around march but another says he’s gonna get it in july. just depends on how old said mentor is and if the badge is hall of fame or any other rating.

I'm experiencing a player that I'm building around is stuck between unsettled or uncertain in morale level.. I have given him mins etc, it seems like no hope.. please help me make sense it. Is he starting? Look at what the players wants on tab 2 of his player card. So plyrs ask for too much some are 82 ovrls and just happy to play for a winner. It just depends on the plyr themselves.
Correct. 2K didn’t put training in MyLeague online. If the off-season training camps are there you’ll want to use those. Also actually playing the players helps as well.
Coach2K yeah I play all the cpu games but there is only like 15 games I’m averaging like 25 with cole and 15 ppg with the sf his a 75 ovr is there anyway I can get there attributes better to give me an edge against my mates
