For my current Giannis build I made this build but instead of upgrading the 3pt and steal I upgraded post moves to get 9 playmaking badges and also upgraded the post hook a little more to get a couple more finishing badges. Everything else is virtually identical.

ATTENTION: About 20 minutes ago Mike Wang confirmed to unlock all contact dunk packages you need 85 driving dunk. At the time of recording this video we did not know (as I talk about in the video Mike had mentioned around 82 and that he basically wasn't sure yet) but now he has confirmed 85 driving dunk rating, so if you want to make this build and have all contact dunk packages you need to adjust the height a little. Hope this helps!

Problem with that way of thinking is that the build system doesn’t matter if your gameplay is trash. Plus the builds and badges are going to change prior to release so how your player feels and plays now is not how he’ll feel and play when the game drops

Dmitri Allen I mean, Draymond is 6’7. And Giannis, yes he is 6’11 and plays like a SF BUT you need to realize that in the regular season, the coach puts him on the 4, which makes sense so yeah. Technically Giannis is a 4, not a 3. I mean, if u wanna be technical, AD is complaining cuz he’s 4, not a 5. And he’s right. He’s a natural 4. And same for Porgingiz, can’t put him on a 5 cuz he’s a skinny 7’3 PF. Makes sense right? To be a 5 means Strength, height and wingspan is a cherry on top. To be a 4 means less strength than a 5 and more speed than 5 and the wingspan is a cherry on top. You don’t need weight in the NBA, you need muscle. Muscle is the same. Different is the strength. FAT is not strength, muscle is.

giannis did make a lot of jump shots this season in the regular season and in the first and second round against the Celtics when he did the Steph shimmy he hit 2 midrange shots against banes and like 5 threes he focused only on threes this year and he was hitting 40% in the month of February. the fadeaway he hit on the blazers against emenu was clean asf buzzer beater previous years he was shooting more from the mid-range like against the Knicks when melo was on their he hit like 4 -6 jumpshots that game when he did the DR J jump then won the game with that step-back.

I was able to finesse and make this build get 21 finishing, 1 shooting, 10 playmaking and ,21 defensive, 6'10 231, with maxed wingspan, the only difference other than the badges is that you don't get slashing takeover this time, which is probably a big deal, but you still get glass and rim protecting, which I personally don't like, but sometimes you gotta risk it, and tbh, even though I'd much prefer the slashi takeover, the build is way better all around.

Hey Joe I made a build very similar to this however I found out if you had only 4 extra points to post moves you can get bronze unpluckable and gold quick first step which will help the low ball handling.

Yo Joe, I made a similar build. I was trying to copy and paste a Giannis Build. I went with Power Forward and went with the first Skill Breakdown ( You'll see why) I picked the last Physical Trait. When I Upgraded I maxed out My dunks, Playmaking and a little bit of Defense. I didn't put to much Defense because I was still able to block people. Weight- 220, And I came out with an Interior Finisher and picked Slasher takeover. I was able to put quick first step and downhill, and I was blowing by everyone. Also I had 95 dunk rating and was dunking like crazy. Try My build :)

Groovy J he is not as athletic as he used to be. If tou max out every athletic attribute with the build i mentioned you still get enough badge points to upgrade the essentials. Defensive badges are extremely overpowered so that’s something to take into account as well

I'm probably going to stay on 19 and just switch when 2k21 comes out I've had alot of fun having a slashing Post that can shoot the ball extremely consistently without dimer(like 3 or 4 threes a game if I'm left open) in 2k20 I can't even make a Lockdown from this year I feel like they limited it a little too much and added too many badges

I agree. They have a lot of two of the same badges on 20. They added a badge just like Deadeye but still have Deadeye and more. 19 is isn't the greatest but it feels better then 20 🤷🏽‍♂️. I might be on the same time you are, staying on 19 till 21 or unless I hear good things about 20 when it drops.

xxxandycion they don’t want sf to be great. Which is dumb because the best players in the league are sf. I get the want balance, but how bout you reduce some of the attributes of the guards or big men. Bigs get to grab all the boards and shoot 3’s and middies & guards can do it all because they are quick. Sf has always been my favorite position to play, but there’s like no true benefit to play it right now. I heard they might make some adjustments to the position before the game comes out

Its tought to determine if the builds actually good. When you get matched up on Draymond green who somehow can snag block a 7'0 consistently. And if youre a sf and a shooter gg cause you got klay. I know some online will have good defense but testing a builds on dudes with every hof defense badge isnt realistic. Most of the 2k community focuses on offense, in my opinionost people will get there defense badges to silver if that. So if a build stuggling now, it might actually be better in the full game.

Matthew Shan. Sg at 6’5 and made its arm one above default and still has 90+ mid and three. But your badges is what is most important, I put HOF on range extender and HOF difficult shot. I don’t remember the rest but I was hitting green while be heavily defended! This might be my build or some type of twoway?

The Giannis build I got is called a facilitating finisher it said play similar were to Giannis, LeBron, my player 6'8" tho only draw back still tryN to make the 6'11" one
