NBC Saturday Morning Line Up with commercials | 1978 

I’m 60 years old and I still watch all my favourite cartoons from 50’s to late 70’S it’s stress free and gives you time away from the Messed up World all the Governments World Wide are causing everyone !

I miss being young. I miss Saturday morning cartoons.

Watching these videos is the next best thing to actual time travel! Thanks for allowing so many of us to relive our childhoods. It's so need during these turbulent times.

Best of times to have been a kid and for watching Saturday morning cartoons, and eating bowls of cereal.

While I remember watching Saturday morning cartoon viewing more in the 80's ,looking back at the list of shows during the 70's I would have to say it had far superior line-ups for the most part. Loved Saturday mornings on both decades!

I really appreciate your posting the entire Saturday morning broadcast of each network for various years, because seldom did most of us stick with one channel, so it's nice to actually go back and sample what we missed.

I remember watching the cartoon with the dog who was so ugly he couldn't remove his doghouse, I saw it in the 80s (I was born in 1978). I just couldn't remember the name of it.

Mighty Man and Yuck was freaking hilarious!!! Loved that show. Always got a laugh when Yuck revealed his face, causing the grandfather clock to self destruct! Hong Kong Phooey…great show with a killer theme song!

I remember the old Hostess snack cakes commercials. They all seemed to follow the same formula... Fruit Pie the Magician would use hi magic and get himself and the kids in danger. Captain Cupcake or Twinkie the Kid would have to come to the rescue. Then everyone would enjoy the Hostess treats at the end. Always made me wonder why the kids would hang out with Fruit Pie. He's an even worse magician than Professor Hinkle!

I guess "The New Archie and Sabrina Hour" and its follow ups "Bang Shang Lollapalooza Show" and "Super Witch" were already gone by then. They were the shows I was looking forward to the most that season.

I don't remember watching this lineup because I was only a one year old at the time 😂

At the end of the Globe Trotters noticed Eddie Anderson was one of the voices. He had one of more unique voices on radio as Rochester on the Jack Benny show. I had wondered what his regular voice sounded like. I found out he voiced Bobby Joe. I went back to listen him and never would have guessed it was the same guy.

ALL of the Pink Panther shorts from 1978 were reissued as theatrical cartoons in preparing for syndication in 1982.

Plastic man and Clue club are the hardest to find.

I have not seen all of this video or all the other ones but I hope for the possibility you have captured or come across the last version of the Archie cartoon (some were an hour long) before the 1987 new little teens version of the Archies.

Loved the cartoons and most of the commercials bring back memories but the creepy burger king guy caused many a young kid serious mental trauma

This video needs a better content listing. For example, it contains an original Star Wars commercial featuring a clip of the landspeeder entering Mos Eisley before it was doctored up. And, of course, the Snoopy snow cone machine commercial.
