honestly its insane because im still in awe they can do anything like this LOLL i watch and im like "omg she failed so hard how embarrassing!!" and then i remember i couldnt do even a FRACTION of what alot of these girls do ... that is like 10x more embarrassing LMFAO
Some of the falls were really scary. I wonder if the gymnasts were not really ready to compete these skills as they were far away from landing and doing the skill correctly. I hope nobody got hurt and will get it right the next time.💕
Agreed. As a gymnast as well, these skills seem a little too advanced for them - they seem to labor the element - scary. Makes me realize even more how much elite gymnasts make it happen with tons of practice as a full time job. I’m also thankful that this is a video that they didn’t get really hurt 😣
Gymnastics seems to be one of the most dangerous sports. Its beautiful to watch a well executed routine; however, the mishaps could be life changing for some
Gymnastics and cheerleading are dangerous sports, and require no small degree of precision. It's all but guaranteed that you will get injured at one point or another.
@@hazelnutspred3348 i think the judge just looked worried for the girl you can see that she put her hands to her face and i think some judges are super serious and will never flinch so we need one that actually seem human you know

I admire the fact that this season has been totally thrown off due to covid, but these athletes still do an amazing job regardless! Some of these falls were pretty scary tho lol
This is why I quit gymnastics after 4 years. I feared these inevitable moments. One time I didnt land a split leap with my foot 100% on the beam and it slipped off the side and the beam scraped my entire inner thigh.
I only really did a little gymnastics, but I feel like that little makes watching this so much more impressive. I never got to the flipping. Years later, I realized that I hadn’t been able to commit to it. Not once. I want to applaud these ladies so much!
yep! as a gymnast, we get LARGE deductions if we just, say, fall off on a tuck on beam (not finishing the routine yet) and salute ad walk off. each skill gets a 0.000 (that we missed) deductions for the fall, and a few unpointed toes/bent legs, etc.
Some are funny but a lot of those looked quite dangerous. Probably corona right? Gymnasts completely missing the beam is supposedly not a usual occasion in a regular season or idk. Also bar dismounts Anyways thanks
@@devannyyy they might have had less opportunity to train but are still throwing difficult skills they may not be entirely ready for? Idk thats what i thought
This video shows that no one is perfect. The people who you want to be don’t turn out to be the same people in their failures. Don’t try to change yourself, be yourself.
I am only an Xcel Silver gymnast, but these falls are frightening! I was doing a basic 1/4 turn dismount, and under rotated, then bruised a rib on the beam 😬
@@brittonr1651 I laugh too when I fall. I don't laugh at their pain, it's just funny how some people look when it happens. I don't see an issue as long as the person didn't break something

I had scary falls like that doing gymnastics so I was cringing so hard at these. Missing your feet on the beam or slipping off the bar while doing your skills…it can really rattle you!
The girl right here 2:56 Jaliyah she went to my gymnastics gym. She was one of my big sisters and I loved her. When I swapped gyms she was there too. When I switched gyms again she was there to.😂😂😂 I gave her a final goodbye because she was going off to college and heading to whatever it’s called and soon tryouts for the Olympics.
As a former gymnast training for the Olympics in my youth (Olga Korbut era) the size of some of these girls shocks me. In my day, there was no way we could have been the size of some of these girls and competed. The moves were difficult enough in our day. The moves now? You need to be Superwoman, Batwoman AND Spiderwoman to perform them. So when you're too heavy it makes them not only even more difficult to execute, they become extremely dangerous...as witnessed.
