Turner Jordan my right ear been ringing not to due to this game but in October 2018 my right ear started to ring out of nowhere because of tintinus and still ringing after surgery in March 2019 and now it June 2020 and still ringing and tried ear drops in in off through 2020 no help but took flavorid pills and no help but haven’t tried ring ease yet because my mom think it won’t work and my doctor doesn’t recommended either but I think it will stop the ringing
I agree, very exciting for all fans of football not just these two teams. From about half way through the second quarter to the end, I didn't want to miss a single play! I was hoping for a good FG at the end so there would be OT... I didn't want this great game to end. 😃
Watching this as a Pandemic Pick-me-up. I just noticed the reaction from Saban when the kick hit the upright at the end of the game. He really controlled himself that time. That was probably funnier than watching him lose it.
Hell yeah! I’d never seen Saban so mad. I remember watching this with my folks. It was awesome. Auburn outsmarted AL at the end after the missed FG. Great strategy and calm attention to detail. I remember the 1sec discrepancy before the half. This video and none of the highlight reels show how long it took for Auburn to play that last down for their FG. The AL team and their whole crew had gone to the locker room. It took 20 minutes for AL to come back on the field. And after all that Auburn drills a 52yd FG and Saban went ballistic! It was like he couldn’t believe that they had to pause their halftime for one more play, and then Auburn adds 3 more pts to the board. Lol!!!!!! Classic Iron Bowl!
Braydon Wilson watch AU kick y’all butt 2 years in a row. Also Saban said in one of his interviews lately he said “ You need to win your conference to go to the playoffs”.
@@turnerjordan4749 Congrats on beating a team who had 9 starters out by 3. Lol the fact that you think the barn kicked our butt is laughable lmaooo. The NCAA literally just changed the rule on not allowing the other team to get what was basically a fourth timeout on that kick at the end of the half. In basic terms they said," We fucked up. We completely screwed over Bama by our incompetence. We're changing the rule to make sure we don't find a way to screw over a team as bad as we did Bama." Its just 3 points you may say? Well Bama ended up losing by 3 points so what do know?
“Their only losses to #2, #4 and #10. That’s the kind of schedule they’ve had this year.” Let’s be clear, that’s the type of schedule Auburn has EVERY year. Looking at you Clemson.
True but then they absolutely destroy Alabama and Ohio State. Yes they have a B+ schedule but in bowl season they are basically dominate. Also you can make the argument that the SEC is getting weaker too
Auburn should go to a bowl and play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. This would make for an interesting match up. It would be a good test for both programs.
Watching this months later with everything that has happened in the world since this gives me hope. I hope sports can come back this year whatever they may look like. We need college football back.
As a HUGE LSU fan, my second favorite team is Auburn. Thank you very much, Auburn, for knocking Bama out of the playoffs! Geaux Tigers!! And War Eagle!!
What a game. With names like Boobee, Waddle, Ruggs, Prince Tega, Najee, Big Cat, and freaking Smoke Monday, this was supposed to be good. One of the greatest rivalries in sports.
Theres always some other factor that I cant quiet explain when this game is played at Jordan Hare. Even if it isnt Alabama coming. This is the best game atmosphere ive ever experienced. It's just something that you cant define or measure, yet EVERYBODY agrees is there.
Jimmy G and that game was close until the very end when Henry was finally able to score on the ground. If you’re aren’t there or didn’t watch it live you can’t just look on Wikipedia or ESPN and read the score
I had the privilege to be at this game, and that was one of the best days of my life. The atmosphere was so incredible I think it would give Tiger Stadium a run for its money.
The Malzahn vs Saban rivalry will forever be remembered and missed. Had Saban not gotten the HUNH defensive substitution rules changed after the kick 6. Malzahn could be a HOF college coach. I said what I said. Having said that….Gus could adapt after that rule change…..but even with it…..there was this. Such a fun time in iron bowl history the back and forth of Saban and Malzahn from 2013-2020.
This was a great game! But I also noticed how many pretty young women are Auburn fans. And the band is special too. Fun time all around, except Saban was not having any fun.
I absolutely love now Nick Saban is pissed in the half time interview. Then says it is what it is and goes about his business. I my opinion that’s what makes him so good (the best) at coaching. And he said that he knew going into the game that even a great team like Alabama were going to have bad plays, but what makes Alabama better than anyone else is moving on and trying your best the next play
Man i tell you what. Jaylen waddle is the fastest kickoff returner ive ever seen in all of my 38 years of watching football. Once he gets in full throttle you can forget it. He'll be taking it to the house !
Matt Jones has potential when you see 1:12:34 with Derrick Brown right in his face at the snap; doesn't drop his eyes; makes the play. Alabama has numerous edges all over; the way the OL is making Draft picks Marlon Davidson and Derrick Brown look like anonymous Big12 D Linemen. Games that turn out like this are intrinsically exciting.
More than any team I've ever seen in my life, Auburn has a home field advantage. Over the years, the teams they have beaten in that stadium is damn near staggering. Take them out of JHS and they aren't close to the same team. In JHS, they handled Juedy, Ruggs, Smith, Najee, slowed down Joe Burrow last year, Beat an awesome UGA team in 2017 (that they then got routed by a week later away from Jordan Hare). Take them out of that stadium and they cant even hang with Minnesota. There''s been a saying in Tuscaloosa for years that Dye and Housel made a deal with the devil in 89. After watching mediocore Auburn teams play like national champ teams in that stadium over the years, I'm starting to believe it.
Braydon Wilson your just mad cause Bama is 5-10 in JHS. Bama is on the decline, Saban is slowing down and soon Bama will be back to irrelevance. Better enjoy it now cause after Saban is gone it will be a longgggg time till Bama is dominant again.
Braydon Wilson You want to talk about the all time record?? Only reason Bama has the advantage is because prior to 89 we had to play AT BAMA every year! Every since it’s moved to home and away, AUBURN leads the series. Also, if you think Dabo is coming to Bama your nuts!
Derrick Brown was pretty quiet until the 6min mark 4th quarter. Then he turned into the incredible hulk. I got a hunch he's the next Fletcher Cox,Jurell Casey,Casey Hayward kinda of player. Dominant but not a lot of fan fare.
1:26:08 ; WHAT a play; Brown and the boys are finally kicking ass up front; and it doesn't even matter. AND Alabama got possession with 1 minute left in the half; Im expecting the usual old school run the clock go to halftime. Nope. We're in a new era people, where Saban goes pass happy with 2nd string QB taking risks instead of going to halftime.
@@eltrout6157 That too. Saban is old school where its all about defense, your most talented athletes are on D, but also take no risks on offense. Postmodern college football at the highest levels, you gotta score and score alot. So no, 45 seconds left isn't time to run it and head to halftime, its time to sling it.
I hate day games. I think the Iron Bowl should always be a night game. Theres always just something extra in the atmosphere in a night game at Jordan-Hare--especially when Alabama is the opponent.
Let’s put it this way; Alabama hasn’t beaten Auburn at Jordan-Hare since 2015. Alabama had one of the weakest schedules in 2019 if not the weakest ever. Alabama lost to an Auburn true freshman QB after most of the Alabama nation claimed to be trash and would fail miserably against the Tide’s “amazing defense”. Nick Saban whined and bitched about Gus Malzahn outsmarting him both just before the half, and at the end of the game. AND, Alabama is 5-10 all time at Jordan-Hare since the rivalry moved to the Plains in 1989. Just goes to show you, ALABAMA IS HOT GARBAGE WHEN PLAYING AN AUBURN TEAM THAT HAS A HEART LIKE ROCKY BALBOA!
Alabama fan here. It was a great game but I need to point something out. On 2:09:29, that Bama player was a true freshman and didn’t hit him at all. But Witlow kinda lost it. Props to him for staying humble. Also, what’s up with Booby W getting in fights all the time
Bammer saying we won because we cheated so I guess we made their quarterback throw 2 pick 6 and help their kicker miss a field goal and caused them to draw penalty for putting 12 bama players on the field and if Auburn was able to do all that than we deserved to win the iron bowl 😂😂😂 suck it butter cups #WDE #AU4L
@ Braydon lol 😂 you sound like another salty bammer fan about last year iron bowl win and if you can't moved pass that than you may need some therapy😂 #WDE #AU4L
War F'n Eagle. Go Auburn after this and every Iron Bowl, my cousin is a Tide Fan, and I am trying to Go to Auburn. So, like I said before, War F'n Eagle, and Go Auburn!!!!
Crazy game if not for the ball hitting the uprights on the Alabama kickers field goal the game most likely would have gone into overtime at Jordan-Hare stadium which has become like Clemson's tiger stadium a hard place to play at even when the crowd gets involved.
