Hi So I am in my last semester of Medical coding school and I am doing a Project on NCCI and I found this to be helpful. I have a learning disability and you make it easy to understand.
Sooooo, a lot of my instructor's links are no longer working or have issues when playing. It is kinda upsetting. Thank you so much for your video! It literally saved me from a meltdown. I went straight to CMS and was able to figure out what to look for so I could complete my assignment. Again, thank you!
Just hit this section of the AAPC course and was completely baffled as to what this was. I will go back and read the sections you mentioned, but your plain language explanation and examples were SUPER helpful. Thank you!
I have been tentatively offered an internal promotion, to be a Coder 1. As a Coder 1, a new position at my company, I was told that I am just going to do "edits." I hope to learn from your videos, just what edits are.
Another very useful and informative topic, thanks Ms Victoria!!!! I just downloaded the pdf for learning all about the NCCI edits last night and Voila..... it's the same topic you tackled today in your video!!!!!! I do have another question to ask, how do I become a platinum member? Thanks!!
Hi Victoria! Hope you can help me, from my understanding modifier 59 goes on column 2 codes (when allowed) Ex. column 1 (11043) and column 2 (11721) modifier is allowed, but then when I put 11721 in column 1 and 11043 in column 2 there is no PTP edit, so I was told to put modifier 59 on 11043. Is this true and can you explain if possible, thank you!
haha i hate ncci edits... When i first learned these i was so confused.. but now just looking at the procedures performed i have memorized the codes i use.
