Great game…congrats to Mt. Airy…but you may want to edit bc your roster line up is incorrect. #25 Bruce Shipman started on both offense and defense for Tarboro High and he’s not listed on either roster.
I'm having to use my wife's RU-vid watching this game from last year now but this year seeing how good Mount airy is so far just buy the scoring and I've not seen none of the games but they look like they could repeat so only if you know the only thing that I know of would be tarboro that could beat Mount airy and that's if they have most of the kids that they had last year because I don't know how many that Mount airy loss from last year but they're pretty good this year I know I haven't looked at tarboro yet but we used to play Mount airy when I was in school and I went to West Wilkes high School and back then was in the from 2002-2003 and they were always good we finally did beat thim one time but you know even then they was 1A school and we were 2A and as far as I know of right now the team that we had that beat Mount airy was probably the best football team West Wilkes ever had. if we could have been 1A I think they would have had a better shot at State because when they entered state that year we had the number one ranked defense and we beat Charlotte Catholic 63 to 14 and then lost in a second-round to North Rowan who had the number one ranked offense 22 21 at the end of regulation they do a trick play. who went on to lose in the third round to a 4 and 7 Burlington Cummings who went on to win state that year. But Mount airy's always had a great program and tarboro has also been to State a lot just like he's East Surry they were really good and the year before that if I'm not wrong I think they won state two years ago but I don't remember if it was 2A or 1A but thanks for posting this video I love watching the state football championships I like watching the highlights through the seasons to but there's nothing like playoff season that's the best from 1A to 4A the only thing that I think they should have kept in the playoffs is from 1A threw 2A I wish they would have kept it to where you had 1A 1AA and 2A and 2AA just because some of the programs that are schools who have kids that love to play each year but their schools don't have enough kids that really make up on the field as some of the other schools do so that's why I feel that they should have kept it you know at least at the lower schools. Now the top schools I understand because there's a lot of kids at those schools. but the other schools like Mount airy's North Stokes South Stokes West Wilkes East Wilkes East Surry places where I'm from Elkin there's a big difference between like Elkin and Starmount. Forbush and West Wilkes kind of the same size but you know other than that you can see the differences and some of these schools and I could name on more schools you know then that but these are just the schools and the surrounding area that where I live at but you are there schools all over the state that could probably benefit from the platform of what I just said but God bless and hope all the players from the school stay safe that's out there playing this year and have fun
That was a fumble the score should had stayed 20 to 0 but here after the rematch it’s going to be awhile before tarbro wins again next year either bladen will beat them or mount airy will do it for a 3rd time in a row considering the fact they’re Qb is gone next year and teams are getting better in the East 1A north Moore east bladen rosewood will be decent but if you attack tarbro secondary and run the ball left side you’ll be successful and on defense just have a bunch of people in the box and don’t blitz cuz your gonna get killed by an offensive lineman but you know their running the ball not throwing it people loose to this team do to mistakes and they allow tarbro to have huge plays I really think you could blow out tarbro if you make a good game plan.

Y’all rely on one running back and plus teams are getting better y’all only beat East bladen by a td last time I checked their in the East and I’m not crying cuz yall got blew out by the same team in the championship back to back years
@@frankiefurlough shows what little you know about Tarboro lol. That offense relies on all three running backs. Only reason the game against East Bladen was close was because of injuries to Tarboro. Mount Airy had a great team no doubt hats off to them.
@@frankiefurlough lmao this team is only graduating six seniors I feel very confident they will be there next year. That being said Mount Airy is the king of 1a at this time. And for what it's worth I was disappointed by the play calling by Tarboro yesterday.
Same I was disappointed with that to. You hear what that announcer said at the end of the game? The dynasty is done in Tarboro 😂 hope he keeps that same energy next season
