My mom loved this episode. This came out the week before he passed away. He was in the air force. mom got a lab not long after and brought her a lot of joy til she passed away. I catch myself Everytime I see this . God bless all military soldiers
NCIS always delivers when it comes to respecting our military and the fallen and this episode brought that home. Thank God for our Soldiers , Sailors, Airman and the Marine Corps and also for our War Dogs, for they are more than just dogs. Gibbs was so right in saying, "That's not a dog, that's a Marine". This video was very emotional and as a dog person the last scene of the wife, his dog and the casket was heart wrenching and stated more than mere paragraphs could describe. God Bless and Semper Fi.
Of all the episodes of NCIS there’s only been a handful that actually made me ugly cry. This was one of them. Dogs are truly some of our greatest and most treasured gifts and companions. This episode highlights how valuable they are to our soldiers serving overseas and once they are home. To all veterans human and animal, Hoorah!
this scene is powerful and very true. the dogs who serve along side our men and women are soldiers and marines as well. they often dont get the recognition like they should. they are trained with our service men and women often going into combat zones and are killed. and they are honored the same way as they human partners. i thank God that i leave in a nation where have such amazing animals serving in the military.
ofc cuz Animals are the superior beings of this World, not like us shit humans that succumbs to greed, jealousy, petty feelings and so on, we humans have done so much shit in the past and still do, and no animal gives a shit bout these actions\feelings they just gief 200% of themself all day and everyday....and dont expect much in return
You find the occasional NCIS episode that is so heart wrenching and this is one of them. Our country's four legged heroes don't get near enough attention or proper recognition, semper fi Dex, semper fi Marine!
2:17 This right here says VOLUMES without saying anything. Dex knew who he was there for. His loyalty, dedication, commitment & respect for his handler is so well documented. The same can be said of ALL K-9 Service members: - Search & Rescue - Police - ALL Branches of the Military
In NCIS's long history, this is the one & only scene where I had tears rolling down my face! At 1:16 when he hands her the medal, when this 1st aired I had actually yelled out loud NOOOOOOOO! I thought Dex had passed.
I should be thinking the star means Dex lived. Bronze = wounded Silver = KIA. But my reaction to seeing the star as the box opens is K.I.A. Her face breaking at the sight of the medal... I can't...
Now after gibbs suspension seeing wht Gibbs did fr those dogs n who r all saying tht his character suddenly changed should watch this gibbs didnot change he always loved dogs❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is it possible the widow reacted to the Medal box coming out of Gibbs's pocket because she just got one for the death of her husband... ...and now she sees another for Dex... That "Oh, God...no!" stomach-turning moment...?
@@varianschirmer9375 bronze Star is wounded or showed bravery, heroism or outstanding achievement. Silver star is showing one single act of valor or heroism over a brief period. I’m not sure who would distinguish the differences but that’s what I’ve been told.
@bellerain381 I'm not sure where the distinction is... I just remember Renaissance Man with Danny DeVito as a civilian teacher. One of his students lost a father in combat... apparently the actions described merited a silver star... that had been overlooked. But where the line between bronze & silver star is... I am uncertain.
Dex episode Seek, my brother, had one his name was Finn. According to, lacking souls they don't go to Heaven, I beg to differ, if they go nuts everytime they, see you, they've got souls Finn I'll see you on the other side my hairy pal
Malcolm Ramsey you've probably found it by now, but if not, that is NCIS episode "Seek". I think it's episode fifteen of season ten, but I could be wrong.
This is from some another poster on here ....... Malcolm Ramsey you've probably found it by now, but if not, that is NCIS episode "Seek". I think it's episode fifteen of season ten .
Wow. Why is it that people still record this way? Omg. It just aggravates the audience. If you connect the signal directly, you get a much much better result.
