Absolutely the best. Small channel but have content that is outstanding. I am working thru some Q-banks and BE SHARP method absolutely rock. My scores had improved drastically. Thank you for the content. Please when are you going to have a webinar?
Good day sir. I have never left a comment until today because watching your videos did wonders to my knowledge in preparing for the nclex but also preparing my journey as a nurse. I watched most of your videos ( it was a lot but enjoyed watching it) and I’d never felt so confident in doing prioritization questions. I learnt a lot from you than I did in nursing school. I passed my nclex exam and just want to thank you for your work. You are the best I’ve seen online and will be recommending you to my friends
CONGRATS!!! As always, you did all the work. I provided the tool. Thank you very much for watching those videos. It was a pleasure to be part of your journey. CONGRATS again and thank you for sharing and helping to grow the channel. Merry christmas.
Thank you so so much @adaptnclex, I took my nclex RN Friday and by 3pm Saturday boards send me an email stating congratulations. Am now a Registered Nurse. sir you explanations helped me a lot to think and pick the right options, keep up the good works
Good explanations, Doctor. However, I got confused when you explained that Heparin will lead the patient into thrombocytopenia and therefore high risk for thrombosis. I will be glad if you could help me there. Thank you.
This is call HITT. Heparin induced thrombocytopenia. Pt develop antibodies from heparin that react with plt and leads to depletion and subsequently thrombosis. So your biggest problem is thrombosis rather than bleeding. Thats why we switched them to another anticoagulant.
Hey Doc, can you explain BE SHARP is based on numerical order of prioritization like ABC? I understand airway/breaking is #1. For instance would they include bleeding , electrolyte and sepsis as a question.
No. It's not ordered form of prioritization. It designed to make you think clinically. Offcourse airway trump everything but u have to look at the clinical situation. Just having CHF is not enough.
Relax. take a deep breath. Keep yr cool. You have to overcome that first. Dont defeat yrself b4 the exams. You got this. You have done yr part studying hard now take care of yr body - test anxiety. I recommend taking breaks every 15 questions and you must at Q80. 2-5mins break is fine. Good luck.
