Question 1 is analyzed incorrectly. I either misread it or forgot it was asking for "additional" instruction. The correct answer is A because we don't want them to "fill up" with fluids. Answer b and c are fine, and answer d isn't necessary but doesn't require correctly. THANK YOU TO MY VIEWERS FOR CATCHING THIS!
Thank you, Dr. Sharon. For the first time since watching your video, I am sure of my answer even if you said otherwise. 😄 (I am proud of myself) It is because you taught us how to analyze the questions correctly. I am learning so much from you. Thank you sooo much!
No. 1 is asking, "Which one indicates the need for additional followup instruction?" The correct answer is a. If he's drinking a lot with his meals, he's not consuming enough food."
yeah I think she missed that we were looking for the wrong answer in question 1. Although the mouth care before eating is weird, I wonder why that was a right answer?
@@strawberryrhubarbpie I think that good oral hygiene enhances appetite and that would help the patient to eat more and consequently gain the needed weight.
Congrat 👏Believe me , what ever you do never give up, finally l've become a licensed Registered nurse on my 3rd attempt , I can't believe I almost gave up after not making it for the 2nd time, fortunately for me I was recommended to a tutor by my friend's
I'm sorry about your plight my friend but i was once in your shoes before i was recommended to Mrs ELISABETH HELEN and that's how i passed My NCLEX exam
Really, y'all know about her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of NCLEX Exam, Mrs ELISABETH has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her.
I'm not sure if this would reach out to you Dr Sharon but I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you. You helped me a lot in acing my NCLEX! Like so much! I took it last October 19 and stopped at 85 questions in just an hour and 20mins! Even if I'm done with my exam I still listen to your new videos because I miss your voice 😄
I’m thinking the same thing, it should be number 1 because we are looking for the wrong answer. It say additional follow up! Doctor Sharon can you please recheck the question? If you don’t mind.
Dr. Sharon, the first question was confusing. The statement asks for the answer that would require monitoring, so taking small but frequent portions would not be correct and monitoring would not be unnecessary? and the others are wrong?
@JuliansSilva-jj9nd I agree. I assumed you would follow up when I patient is concerned about oral hygiene rather than correctly eating small frequent meals. Dr. Sharon if you see this please clarify.
Thanks Dr Sharon, please could clarify Q1, I think you are right for highlighting a initialy. The question is asking for an answer that requires further follow up. Thanks once again for you time.
Dr Sharon, could you please clarify the question about emphysema and unexpected finding? To me crackles are very much expected because of atelactasis those patients are prone to. Circumoral cyanosis, on the other hand, is an unexpected and very dangerous sign: it indicates central hypoxia; unlike chronic bronchitis, patients with emphysema are pink puffers, so cyanosis would indicate worsening of their condition. I'd appreciate your input. Thank you!
I think Dr. Sharon you forgot to read the question again. The first question says the need for follow up instruction, and I remember you said it should be false so (a.) should be the right answer. Thank you.
