@@KpopPrinceYh it was but I wish they had blended the velvet with the red songs more instead of doing red songs in succession and pushing the velvet songs to the end. Just my opinion though.
127 is one of the most all rounder group imo. They got all mark checked, rap vocal dance stage presence, also people just didint want to give 127 a try, their title is always the experimental sound bcs thats their identity n they never change since day one like some of group that seeking market validation, but u knw thier bside full of RnB ballad pop, if the tt is not ur cup of tea u surely will find another genre in thier beside
thats why nctzens especially 127zens are not affected by those comments about them doing noise music for tt because we know they have an amazing discography
tbh Sticker as an album is by far my favorite because it truly has it all, it's probably the album with the most genre switches (noise, pop, rnb, dance) it showcases a lot of versatility and i feel like it's severely underrated as an album
Baby Don't Like It is such a great of example of the kind of amazing writing and characters Mark and TY have created (and there is a lot) and there is definitely a reason they performed half the Limitless mini album. 2017 was just something really special for them in my mind. I hope they are sooooo incredibly proud of their discography thus far cause they should be.
Loved the reaction! I find their b-sides more lowkey, more R&b focused, and vocal heavier and less chanty. NCT Wish is going to debut their song WISH February 28th and will be the last new subunit with new members.
You comparing Mark's vibe to Mac Miller just made my whole day 🥺🤍 I swear to God that 127 has one of the best discographies in kpop (lots of R&B!). Also, you should also react to NCT dream killing voice, great vocals and adlibs!
I love Lemonade, but I believe any number of groups could have done a good job with it. No one else could have gotten away with Sticker, in large part because the vocals really make that song. 💚
@@lulashepard3253not necessarily true, the raps in lemonade have a certain vibe to it which i think cannot be recreated. Also doyoung's falsetto in it goes crazy, the harmony blending with it with like a solid low note which is like building up in the back is not something a number of group in kpop right now can do(not even the other sm groups). Also the other company won't be getting that good of a production cause that sh*t was iconic. The beats goes crazy
NCT, especially when it comes to NCT 127 is to take you on a journey in sound. Title tracks are meant to have you think outside the box of what one considers normalcy... to enjoy an amalgamation of what couldn't be possible woven to perfection. That is the genius of how they choose title tracks, it will cause a discussion. 'Sticker' is straight hood... the most gully track they've ever done, 'Lemonade' is hip-hop standard. They will always cause 'conversation.' B-sides in Kpop is where all the gems are found. Great reaction.
Yes, You're right.. Two Baddies is a really fun and cool song at NCT 127's concert.. when they sing it, automatically all the concert attendees will sing along and the energy in the concert dome at that time will feel full.. it feels very relaxing and full of happiness.. lucky me I've been to their concerts and experienced it
ugh, I love all of 127's discography... I would say my favorite album of theirs is a tie between Ay-Yo (so that Skyscraper is included) and Favorite (so Love on the Floor is included. A lot of people really love the Kick It album, and it is really good, but I'm not really into the slightly more mellow rnb that makes up a lot of that album. I like a lot of different changes and exciting songs along with that rnb style.
Recommendations for their album....hmmm...I think I have to say all of them! I honestly cannot decide which one I like best. Their discography is crazy so doesn't really matter where you start. It's like a box full of treasure (not just NCT127 all units, especially also WayV) Oh and NCT Dream Killing Voice is fab too btw!
Happy u r finally doing Nct 127 killing voice. I remember watching ur Nct reaction n feeling a bit sad you nvr got ard to checking their albums...cos nctzen knows thats where d gems r...R&B ballads, mid tempo songs with wonderful vocals raps n of cos adlibs. I wld think checking d latest full album Fact Check wld be a nice plc to start n than d Ay-yo album(2baddies repackage album)those 2 are my fav at d moment😊
I hope you get around to doing an NCT album soon! FOr NCT 127 I recommend their 2 Baddies/Ayo album for sure. It's incredible! But for NCT in general, it's definitely the NCT 2021 Universe album! Hope you get to watch NCT Dream's Killing Voice as well, the NCT boys are all so versatile and talented they deserve more appreciation. And in case you weren't aware, NCT Wish (NCT's final sub-unit and the Japanese unit) will be making their debut in February with the song "Wish"!
Honestly, 127's title track are always hit or miss to me, but every time I hated a title track, the rest of the album would deliver anyway with their B-sides. It's why I have stayed with NCT in general, with 127 as my fave unit because of their music.
i hope one day you have the time to check out NCT DREAM’s Killing Voice as well ^^ i love how each unit has their own color, you’ll definitely see the difference between 127 and DREAM songs and vibes in general
Glad you enjoyed this. The bridge of “Cherry Bomb,” which is featured here, is in my opinion one of the best in all of Kpop. To me it was the first moment in the Killing Voice that people who weren’t familiar with 127 noticed that these guys can really sing. “Highway to Heaven” has a Korean and an English version, so you can watch either or both videos. “Lemonade” has a track vid. I’m not fond of the edit, so I would suggest that you find a tv performance or just watch the dance practice. I always look forward to watching someone listen to this part of “Back 2 U” because if they’re not blown away I can’t take them seriously. 😂 It’s true that an awful lot of people who had dismissed these guys as a rap-heavy group doing “noise music” were very surprised after viewing this video. It’s also true that the vocalists all sound different. I think everyone has a 127 song that they don’t like at first listen but eventually grows on them (mine was “Fact Check”). This KV version is now my favorite of “2 Baddies.” Like a lot of their singles, it really kicks butt from the bridge on out. This is my favorite Kpop group. Can’t wait to see what you check out next.
I'm with you on this point (23:14), I used to skip 2 baddies😅but after the killing voice, I grew fond of it strangely! (I guess it's because their manurism in the KV replays in my mind while I listen to it) also! Some songs sound better live...🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️
it was great watching you react to nct 127! their bsides really do show another colour to them - something different from their title tracks! i would love to see you react to nct dream's killing voice too! :D
No pun intended, but my favorite album is Favorite (Sticker repackage). Actually, it's so hard to narrow down to one album. I would love it if they released a greatest hits double album (maybe after the enlistments begins?). Too often people write off NCT 127 after listening to 1 - 2 tracks; the ones which are more experimental. Or they get deterred by the NCT concept (too big) or misinformed that 127 is not a static unit. Their B sides are 🔥 and often overlooked. As well as the range of vocal talent of each member. I think that's why this Killing Voice is so popular amongst those who take time to listen. It's still my favorite Killing Voice amongst all the artists so far. It also shows that NCT 127 still has a lot more to show us in the future. Great reaction by the way!
I HIGHLY recommend Mad City for just pure angry clapback from TY & Mark Also I have track video playlist if you wanna watch some(does include some teasers btw): ru-vid.com/group/PLwNn4CRYvLW0XS4adzA8GTw8c3w_4Y2IO Also recommend the Neo Origin Seoul livestages for a bunch of bsides like Baby Dont Like It, Mad City, No Longer, Back 2 U @17:22 lol Taeyong always likes the wierdest song on the album, like he LOVED Sticker on their 1st reaction, Bring The Noize, Mad Dog etc are some of his fave NCT songs, Hitchhiker is his fave producer I also love the hard, fast, in your face songs, like my top 3 127 songs are Cherry Bomb, Chain & Chica Bom Bom (yes I know they all start with CH) but also love all the others They keep putting Mark next to the most breathy emotional singers, like hes next to Renjun in Dreams KV & he always shows the best faces with them lol, like mans is FEELING it, I kinda want them to put him in WayVs just to put him next to Xiaojun, purely so I can complete the emotional trio(aka Haechan anti squad) lol
Last song ALWAYS longer...IF part 2= Black On Black...Golden Ages...Fact ✔️...The Bat...From Home/Coming Home...Perfume...😗...Beautiful...All About You....Be There For Me...Universe...Wakey Wakey...Without You.....Simon Says...Chains...Gimme Gimme...90s Love...Amoeba (Save Me) Regular...Boss...Round And Round...Pado...& My Everything
If you want a recommendation for an album to listen to then I highly recommend neozone or 2baddies albums I feel you would love either the most That said if you really enjoy the rnb bsides a lot then out of sm group discographies I recommend nct127 and exo the most, they have the most rnb bsides than any other sm group; exo specifically have 90% rnb of their discography
your Really missing out on NCT,if you took a break from them, I've neve seen a group, or even an Artist all the overworld that keep consistently evolving their sound , True Neo sound, always a fresh take
