If anybody starts arguing with us about NCT making bad songs and they will never be successful cause of that blah blah just present to them bring the noize and lemonade....they have literally stated in there that they've been like this and they will keep risking it like the lyrics say in bring the noize and that aint never gonna change to meet y'all standards....if you vibe with them then thats great and if you dont then am sorry....lemonade was a bside for a reason, it is a statement literally, its either you respect it or not....same as bring the noize....artists gotta be artists to grow and discover their niche and with the negative and positive feedback from this am definitely looking forward to future releases and see how y'all will react to it cause this shit is entertaining not even gonna lie lmao

exactly my thought, people be dragging it and calling it messy but if it weren't the title track people would still complain about it being just a bside, and besides SM is literally the biggest risk taker out there, they wouldn't let their group do a comeback with a standard and basic sounding song they go for new, unique, and undiscovered things which they succeeded in so many aspects, these people are just too used of these generic and basic produced songs (which is not wrong at all) but considering the fact that they chose to enter the SM universe then complain about strange sounding songs doesn't sit right for me, like people that's SM for you

jaehyun's skills as a vocalist gets overlooked pretty easily because he's a baritone unlike the other members, even if he is a main vocalist himself. apart of that also comes from the company itself from the lack of exposure he gets to utilize and showcase his voice. hope more people get to realize how much greater of a vocalist he is.

Yes yes yes, they actually kept him in the songs more in their first few title tracks but it somehow went downhill after. Now, finally, they realized how flavorful Jaehyun can be given enough opportunities. Honestly, at this point SM’s just dumb for not exploiting him (in a good way - don’t get me wrong)

I think he stands out BECAUSE he’s a baritone. People seem to forget that the song comes first, not line counting. That said, I think he did a great job filling in Taeyong’s parts when he was injured, and I also get a sense that the company really wanted to show how versatile these guys are this time around.

@@lulashepard3253 he's barely given proper lines as a vocalist despite having larger main vocalist role on the paper since the past albums. and even him mentioned how he felt like a rapper this comeback, despite being a sub rapper. his fans just want to hear him sing like every normal sm main vocalist. regarding his lines, it stands out because he makes it work.

Taeyong didn't write any of these verses though. Both Taeyong and Mark were credited for Sticker (the song) but nothing else on the album. They actually only had a handful of credits during the past almost 3 years

yes!!! we could hear much more of Jaehyun throughout this album 😭 Tbh, I was very pleasantly surprised by the line distributions in the title track and album - there are highlight parts/points for Jungwoo, Yuta, and Johnny who we don't really get to hear much in the title track. Things also got better for Taeil too - who usually get a few seconds and 'just' carry mostly the high notes and ad-libs. I'm just so satisfied with this album as a whole for spotlighting the different members!

Nct 127's vocalists are what made me stan them, in the beginning I only focused on Taeil and Jaehyun cos their voices were the ones that grabbed my attention first but now Doyoung, Haechan, Jungwoo and Yuta have been pulling me in too especially after watching their live stuff.

Jaehyun was actually a main vocal before Haechan was considered a main vocal (he got a position change last year) but jaehyun hasn't sang as much in the past year or so. Prior to that in earlier bsides it's usually Jaehyun, Taeil, and Doyoung you heard much more than Haechan.

haven't finished the video yet but just wanted to say i really love watching your reactions. it isnt just the transitions and the funny cuts/edits in between freaking out over vocals and member's visuals but little things like how you always point out the backing vocals, how you predicted how the track would transition, etc etc. legit right before you said dy's part in breakfast sounded like smth from superhuman, i immediately thought of his verse in the somewhat prechorus-ish section in the first half of the song!! im so glad you decided to do an album listen bc i feel like w/ ur background it adds onto the excitement of seeing someone else adore these songs : D

Tbh,this is my second time listening to a new release album with you caitlin.(the fist one is with D.O) and it really feels sooo good 😊 your reaction is sooo on point specially everytime you pause with jaehyun parts its totally meeeee oh i cant with his voiceeeee
