The first time I watched this I thought Taeyong and Doyoung were really not that close and were just thrown together for the sake of this video. However, I now understand their relationship better as a more experienced NCTzen. Watching this back with the knowledge of how close Taeyong and Doyoung actually are, I get a totally different vibe. They are such good friends that I get the sense that they can't really express all their feelings in a simple video and thus seem to turn to surface compliments just to make it through for the cameras. I also get the feeling that they are mostly trolling, especially Taeyong, because he doesn't feel comfortable showing how much he deeply cares for Doyoung in this kind of environment. I am writing this also keeping in mind how thoughtful Doyoung has been since the announcement of Taeyong's relapse of his waist injury. I love that he posted the picture of their friendship rings and assured us all to not worry since he is with Taeyong and is helping him through it all. This long comment to say, that I don't think this video best represents Taeyong and Doyoung's deep friendship. A very entertaining video for sure, but there is a lot more than meets the eye with these two!
