NCT 2023 "Golden Age" + NCT U "Baggy Jeans" MV | REACTION 

The members in “Baggy Jeans” are the founding fathers of NCT. They were the first unit to come out. (The 7th Sense)

what i take from baggy jeans is nct is comfortable and free in their skin. they know they walk differently, they know people have opinions about them. but they don’t care - they’ll keep on keeping on, even if it’s not in “style”. plus you never know what they’ll do next (or what’s in their pocket), because they’re innovators

golden age is its own song, not a mashup, and honestly, it makes a lot more sense in the context of the album. it's the final track and serves as a summary of everything in the album. so basically, you'd be in on the b-sides haha :) this album is a bit shorter than the other NCT project albums, so if you're interested i'd highly recommend giving it a shot! the track videos are also awesome and a great sampler. i'm pretty sure that the morphing effect in baggy jeans was done with AI, it's super cool and trippy. you're correct on jaehyun doing the second part of the chorus, he's known for being something very unique in kpop: a baritone main vocalist. also, i laughed out loud at "did he just yeah boy me???" indeed, we got mark's version of 'my longest yeah boy ever'. the golden age album does have lots of new combinations of members we've never seen together before, but it also has a couple reunions (the 7th sense unit + baby don't stop unit). thanks for the reaction!

4:40 Haechan actually sang before lmao, maybe you missed it. He had more than one part. I think the song was able to capture everyone's vocals and rap styles perfectly! It was actually well distributed, in my opinion

Golden Age is indeed one song and works better in the context of the album and NCT's huge full group concert they did NCT Nation, I feel. It's one of those songs that hits live and just makes more sense in that atmosphere I think. Personally I loved it, but I could tell it wouldn't work for some people. But that's also the case for Resonance, Beautiful, and Black on Black, all of NCT's songs really so it's fine. But Baggy Jeans is a BANGER and I'm OBSESSED, it has the perfect amount of cockiness and effortless charisma that I love from NCT and it makes me so hype. I love the fashion, the production, the vocals, the choreo, all of it. But yes PLEASE watch the track videos, especially the ones for "the BAT" and "PADO"! The whole album is incredible. But I think it would be even more awesome for you to watch the whole NCT Nation concert! It's almost 3 hours long with just pure performances, but it's so worth it and would give you a whole new appreciation for this album, NCT's discography and them in general I think! Just a lot of fun and it was a momentous event for fans, I hope you check it out, there are playlists on youtube of just the performances that you could watch.

NCT albums ALWAYS hit for me. Resonance Pt.1 and Pt.2 were amazing but my favorite is definitely "Universe" aka their 3rd album the Golden Age album is really good too!! i'm obsessed with pretty much all the songs

The numbers on the Keychains 8, 10 and 5 add up to 23 and then they burned those 3 keys and made a new key.. if that has a meaning to it i don't wanna know cuz ill just make myself sad 🥺

haha, NCT are such a trip. Golden age vocals are beautiful, makes me nostalgic like a graduation song almost? Baggy jeans... i think I like it, the second watch is definitely a smoother listen. I'm thinking theyre talking about going commando, which is dangerous in baggy jeans you know lol. Again I love when NCT sings. Will probably listen to again, but not my fav from NCT. I respect their experimentation. Side note, I love NCT choreo, really lets the personality of each member shine through. Its more fun to rewatch over and over again, then groups being super synced up.

Golden age and Baggy Jeans have both grown on me to where I love them both. Go figure. LOL I hope people don't miss the huge amount of humor in Baggy Jeans - sooooo much fun 😁

I love the chaotic switch ups from NCT so baggy jeans is right down my alley! No other way to describe it than neo lo. Golden age on the other hand I think is ok but fits better as a conceptual idea for the album. I probably won’t listen to gold age directly but I think it is a nice anthem to represent NCT and the overall idea of the album. Golden age really combines the two sounds of the album into one song so it makes sense.
