I'm back after nearly four months with a mashup of NCT DREAM, TREASURE, & Weeekly!! I got the ideas for this when I heard the clips of Beatbox on TikTok and heard that the song had a line that went "boom chiki boom" too, like DARARI so that was just a tiny thought that I actually didn't think I'd turn into a mashup. Adding Weeekly into this mix, on the other hand, I heard the vocal chops in the intro for Beatbox, and on my second listen, I about immediately thought of the intro for Holiday Party by Weeekly and I just thought to make a 3-song mashup. One of the best parts about making this mix was when I just put the samples into the mixer, layered them, then found out ALL THREE songs were in the same key!!! THE BOYZ were actually supposed be a part of this mix, with THRILL RIDE but I just didn't wanna break the running theme of all three of them being in the same key, so I didn't add it. On some lower news, while making this mix, I found out that Jiyoon of Weeekly had left the group, and even though I'm not that close to Weeekly as a fan, it makes me feel sad that she had left but I hope that she can continue working in the K-Pop industry as a producer hopefully. Speaking of producers, TREASURE's Yedam has now gone on hiatus to focus on studying music production and Mashiho has also decided to go on hiatus to spend time with his family and work on his mental health in Japan. I honestly nearly cried when I read the news because I thought the two had left the group but I re-read it and realized it was only a hiatus. I hope Yedam and Mashiho can fully spend time during this hiatus, doing everything that they need to do, and for Jiyoon, fighting!! hope to see her in the credits of some K-Pop songs sometime in the near future!!
