Lucas’ native language is Cantonese which is kinda different from Mandarin. Lucas learned how to speak Mandarin after entering SM. I’m assuming that in the first clip he really didn’t understand the guy considering that he (the guy) probably spoke Mandarin with a heavy Korean accent.
