The fact that this is considered one of THE hardest choreos in k-pop (especially in Produce X 101, some trainees said that this is the song that they NEEDED to avoid bc its a hard song to perform) and the boys did this for their DEBUT. Kings, we stan. Doyoung also said he doesn’t have great dancing abilities but yet he debuted to this and performed it multiple times.

Many idols couldn’t even pull off this concept this flawlessly, and the fact that this was nct’s damn debut song makes them stand out so much more. You don’t even get the slightest rookie vibes from them, wow.

Hot take: this is NCT’s greatest lineup and their best song. There aren’t any filler leads and the line distribution is great. The music is amazing and the choreo is such a big departure from normal idol choreo (especially for the time). Wish SM could make something like this with NCT again.

this is actually the best kpop debut song ever. the choreography is really hard and the beat is just really catchy, not mainstream at all. tbh i was mad 4 years ago because this song didn't become a major hit, but regardless i was and am so proud of nct!

Seeing this after 8 years is still as impressive as the first time, I need them to release something of this style again. Without a doubt one of the best debuts in all of kpop

Kpop fan since '09 and I have to say this is one of the best, if not the best, choreos in Kpop hands down. And the music alone is beyond Kpop man, it just hits different.

THIS. this. this is a masterpiece. the choreography, vocals and literally everything about the seventh sense is Amazing and Perfect im so proud of my boys.

An under appreciated reason why this choreography is so next-level is that it never repeats. It's always something new. Usually Kpop choreos will (rightfully and naturally) reuse the same section or at least a similar move throughout, but not 7th sense

NCT was so head of the times with this song. This came out before harder choreography became the norm in kpop. Even in 2022 it still stands out as one of the hardest and most unique. Nobody was and is doing it like NCT. They're such a pioneer group in so many ways.

I'll be honest, The 7th Sense will be the BEST thing SM has ever delivered to the industry. It's too perfect, too deep, too futuristic I literally cry everytime remembering that this industry has a piece such as The 7th Sense!

시대를 너무 앞서간 명곡과 안무….진짜 지금 나왔으면 케이팝이라는 장르 자체를 바꿔놨을듯.

오늘 슴콘에서 다시 한거보고 다시 옴 2023년에 봐도 전혀 촌스럽지 않고 오히려 세련됨 127과 드림 또 웨이브이 그리고 성쇼까지 지금의 엔시티만이 보여줄 수 있는 또다른 네오함(특히 127) 도 좋지만 정말 이때 칠감을 보면 그냥 엔시티의 근본이라는 말 말고는 설명이 안될 정도로 너무나도 이 팀의 정체성을 나타내고있어서 소름돋을 정도로 좋고 또 그리움.. ㅜㅜ 이때 칠감 기준 맏형이 22살이였고 도영 텐 21살에다가 재현이 20살 마크 18살.. 진짜 눈물날 정도로 그립다 지금도 너무 좋고 행복한 덕질이지만 이때 엔시티 분위기를 다시 잘 찾아와줬으면 하는 바램도 잇음 시바 그정도로 개쩐다고요 그냥 도영재현 쌍둥이 안무 수정된건 눈물나지만.... 2023버젼으로 해주셔서 감사합니다...난 칠감즈 못잃어 다시 유닛 내줘

이거 볼때마다 느끼는건데 당시 SM의 모든 정수가 다 녹아든 곡이며 안무같음. 진짜 개쩐다

이건 아무도 따라할수가없음...그때도 독보적이였고 지금도 독보적임...

this moment when you hear the song and you are just like: let's learn the dance! it's gonna be so damn lit but then you see the first ten seconds... nope, never mind!

This isn't like a hard hitting boy group style, nor is it funky or sexy or soft or matches any of the well known boy group concepts. This is such a unique NCT concept. I don't think anyone has been able to replicate this (to my knowledge) kind of concept so far. 5 years ago, I thought this was different and difficult and I still think the same. I think some people are even scared to cover this song due to how "weird" or "unique" it is.

이제야 이 명곡을 알게 된 내가 안타깝지만 이제라도 알게 되어서 너무 좋다... 진심으로 아이돌 춤 영상을 보면서 멋있다는 생각이 들고 계속 돌려보게 되는 건 처음인듯

i'm still not over the choreography for this song. i honestly don't know how ten, taeyong, mark, doyoung and jaehyun dance like that. they're all kind of flowing but at the same time sharp. i also love how the play with height (specifically in the intro) and how some the dance moves mean one member is "dependent" (if that makes sense) on the another. stan talent stan nct

Honestly i think this choreo is the hardest ive ever seen. Its not like the other "powerful&fast move" that leave you breathless afterwards, Its the fluidity and sharp at the right moment without make it awkward and make you look like a fool lol. But seriously, im not a dancer so every choreo seems hard for me. But at least, in every songs, there at least one move of choreo that you remember esp the chorus part. In 7th sense, i realized they have 3 same chorus with 3 different moves. Then i realized it later that their choreo from sec 00.01 to the end are different, there are no same moves at all. Clap to these young boys.

I feel like I understand now. Like why SM put these 5 as the first unit ever in NCT. Taeyong the best center, Ten the best dancer, Jaehyun the best visual, Mark the best rapper, Dooyoung the best vocally/stand attractor. It really represented the best trainees in sm rookies15 since they released those rookies. Now, the NCT has spanded, added more members every year, it makes sense that these 5 hold the standards in variety aspects. In the future it will have more aspects to create.

This has got to be one of, if not the best debut in recent kpop history. I’m multifandom so it’s none of that crazy fan stuff, objectively nct u’s debut is something for the books. The song, performance and team were all of extremely high quality for rookies and older groups. I’m still in awe of what Taeyong, Ten, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Mark and SM were able to do👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Ten is such a good dancer, I can't take my eyes off of him. He's just so fluid! I think he's on par with Kai, Lay and Taemin tbh.

It's not like most of kpop choreographys that are only following the moves without analyzing the beat and actually feel it You can see how much passionate nct u about the dance and dancing to the actual beat This kind of choreography that not any one can cover it except for skilled dancers All respect!

There's something about Taeyong's dance style. He embodies the song he's performing through his dance, it just hits different. His body rolls are untouchable btw.

I'd like to know the choreographer's name though. Because this person deserves way more praise for this incredible performance. I mean, no repetition in movements, always new ones, some very difficult rhythm to follow, ingeniosity, creativity... everything is present. Anyone knows the name?
