I would love to see you react to the other parts! Mark is Canadian btw. I'll try to explain the amazon part but idk if I can lmao. I don't really know what Mark was trying to do but he just said "what's a place that produces a lot of bananas" and Johnny (the one with the denim jacket) was making a pun out of amazon by saying ama-john (probably john). Ten (the one with the glasses) made it completely different by saying "john's banana?" and Mark and Johnny being the dirty-minded people they are, took it out of context. That was probably really confusing and unhelpful but yeah
4:38 the joke is where do bananas come from? Johnny: ama(means “probably” in korean) john ( his name) -amajohn-( sounds like amazon which is the right answer) Mark laughs Jaehyun pretends he’s innocent and he didn’t hear it Ten: wait I don’t get it ? You mean *JOHN’s BANANA* Everyone laughs yes it’s a penis joke and every single one you’ll see mark is a part of it lol
1:52 Mark is Korean Canadian 2:30 yup u got it right 3:51 win win from is China- during this time it was not long after they debuted and he had a short trainee period- so still new with speaking -was struggling then..but now much much better.
yess you should watch all the nct vs korean language videos its so funny to watch them struggle even tho they are really good now. I enjoyed watching this video
Here's an Updated list of NCT's members and where they are from. Taeyong: Korean Taeil: Korean Jungwoo: Korean Doyoung: Korean Jaehyun: Korean (can full people into thinking he's Korean-American) Haechan: Korean Jaemin: Korean Jisung: Korean Jeno: Korean Mark: Korean-Canadian Johnny: Korean-American Yuta: Japanese Ten: Thai (ethnically Chinese) Kun: Chinese WinWin: Chinese ChenLe: Chinese Renjun: Chinese-Korean Lucas: Chinese-Thai (Hong Kong) Hendery: Chinese XiaoJun: Chinese Yang Yang: Chinese-German The last 3 are new members that are apart of the Chinese sub unit WayV along with Lucas, WinWin, Kun, & Ten.
4:50 mark and Johnny were talking about Amazon so they made a pun with the korean pronunciation. Ama(John). Ten didn’t understand because he’s not a native English or korean speaker he is Thai.
NCT really is one of the most diverse groups in Kpop. Here is an overly detailed comment of how diverse they are: In NCT there are: - 5 Chinese members (this is counting the WayV members too) - One Chinese member of German Nationality (Yangyang of WayV) - one half Chinese/ half Thai member (Lucas) - one full Thai member (Ten) - one Japanese member (who you guess right is Yuta) - one Korean member of American nationality (Johnny; who was born in Chicago) - and one Korean member of Canadian Nationality (Mark) As well as the mix of nationalities, NCT is a whole mess of languages. Johnny, Jaehyun, Mark, Yangyang And Ten are all fluent in English. Chinese is also spoken in the group. Taeyong (the leader of NCT) is learning Japanese so he can converse with Yuta. And what I think is amazing is one member (Ten) can speak Chinese, English, Korean and Thai fluently and is teaching himself Japanese and at this point is semi-fluent. Lucas can also speak Chinese and Korean fluently (as well as Thai I think he’s mentioned before) and is working on English. So the mix of culture and languages in NCT is really amazing.
4:30 in this part they were making pun about amazon mark was saying "where's the place that produces a lot of bananas" then he said amazon then johnny said amajohn (making pun of his own name amazon+johnny=amajohn) and ten couldn't understand the pun so he asked them to repeat and mark told him and he said john's banana (i meant you know the meaning 😏😏😏) thats why after ten said that you can see their reactions are priceless
I would recommend watching an introduction to Nct ot21 version since this year 3 new membership joined called Hendery, Xiaojun and Yangyang they are Chinese members and are apart of Nct in the subunit WayV and please do the other parts your videos make me smile and laugh! And have a good day
About the Amazon pun using Johnny's name Someone actually asked "where can we buy a lot of bananas?" And Johnny said "Ama" and mark replied "John" when you connect it, it'll sounds like "Amazon" Amajohn= Amazon Then ten was like "I don't get it can you repeat it again" and they explained the pun and ten said "John's banana?" Which makes those dirty minded dorks laugh (except our innocent Jaehyun who's just sipping his milk tea, wondering why is he there)
Ahh here we go, finally getting to use all my unnecessary NCT knowledge, so here you go: all members that are not fully Korean (when it comes to either nationality or ethnicity or both) In order of age: Johnny: Korean-American, he's from Chicago and grew up there but his parents are both Korean Yuta: Japanese Kun: Chinese Ten: ethnically Chinese but born and raised in Thailand Jaehyun: is fully Korean but I wanted to mention him because he lived in the states for 4 years as a kid, so he's fluent in English Winwin: Chinese Lucas: born in Hong Kong, but his dad is Chinese and his mom is Thai Mark: Korean-Canadian; his parents are both Korean but he grew up in Vancouver Xiaojun: Chinese Hendery: Chinese (from Macau) Renjun: Chinese Yangyang: Taiwanese but lived in Germany from when he was 11 to when he was like 16(? not 100% sure, but something like that) Chenle: Chinese Who's in what subunit?: Johnny, Yuta, Jaehyun and Mark are in NCT 127, technically Winwin as well but sm likes to screw him over so who really knows anymore Jaehyun, Mark, Winwin, Lucas, Ten and Kun are in NCT U Renjun and Chenle are in NCT DREAM, Mark was in NCT DREAM up until Dec 31 2018, when he graduated from the group (because it is age-based) Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery and Yangyang make up WayV (the Chinese subunit that sm denies being part of NCT but we all stan OT21, so we know they're one big family) Edited for punctuation error
@@xwah5016 Jilin is in China, it's just close to the Korean peninsula and that's why many people there speak Korean as well and it's got a relatively large Korean population and that's how he grew up bilingual, I don't think he's ethnically Korean, is he? Do correct me if I happen to be wrong!
Blood, Sweat and Smeraldo Flowers yes he is ethnically Korean bc he goes to a school for ethnic Korean minorities to learn about his own ancestry and language. He is what Chinese people call a chaoxianzu. Some ppl that live in jilin don’t all speak Korean as there’s so many minority groups living in jilin. Mongolian chinese , Korean chinese and Han Chinese and many more.
Can you go to react to nct songs and dance practice and mv everything songs please reaction nct 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 i love you so much and i love your video i watched them 🎞💖💖
OMG Thank you for reacting to NCT! I'm so happy because I really love your reactions, please watch the other parts! Also Mark is Canadian, they also have Thai, Japanese, and Chinese
i think you'll grow to love Mark even more, he's from Canada, and he's one of the best English speakers in the group. there's a wide variety of nationalities in NCT so it's fun to get to know them better! ^^
I honestly love this video series and it's so cool to hear about things from your perspective. As someone whose been learning Korean for only two years, I relate to this video so much. The word games in Korean are also terrifying!
Btw, Renjun is actually Korean ethnically, but has Chinese nationality. He has something to do with his hometown. The reason why he was a lot more fluent than other non-korean born member. He learned korean at an early age.
the NCT vs language series is my favorite NCT content on RU-vid!!!! it makes me proud of them that they try so hard! they do have a lot of foreign members, so I don't think this series will end anytime soon. please react to the whole series!

Zoe Bennett yeah actually it is but i've been studying it since i was little so yeah in our country we learn both english and french like the basics and important stuff and u can even learn more if u r intrested and i was☺❤❤and hyunjin is my bias in sk btw😂😂💜💜💜💜
nina honey Jisung is actually my bias but the other 8 are my bias wrecker smh 🤦♀️. But I’ve been learning French since I was about 5 and I’ve always found conjugation difficult for some reason. Btw do you live in Canada? Just because you say that you learn French and English
I'm early UvU (I'm turning into my friend with dat face) Christian i love your videos they make me happy and tbh I think they give me luck lol 💜 keep going and keep making videos love you 💜❤💕
i've been slowly but surely learning Korean for about 3 years now (it's taken me longer because i had some health problems) and i can agree, the Korean language is very hard 😂 but honestly it's worth the struggle, i love the language and the way it fits together~ another great video, by the way!
NCT has a total of four sub-units: NCT Dream, NCT 127, NCT U and WayV. Most of the members in NCT can promote any sub-unit or create a new sub-unit. Mark is Canadian. Johnny is American. Yuta is Japanese. Ten is from Thailand. Chenle, Renjun, Win-Win, Haechan, Lucas, and Kun are from China. The South Korean members are Taeyong, Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Jeno, Jaemin and Jisung. The other sub-unit (WayV) members are from Taiwan (YangYang), China (Kun, Lucas, Win-Win, XiaoJun, Hendery) and Thailand (Ten).
