Brian Boggs, owner of Brian Boggs Chairmakers, discusses how and why he works the way he does. From log selection for different products, to joinery and finish. He will tie the story of his work process into a complete picture.
Brian will also do a few demos like bandsawing complex compound-oriented curves with precision, and steam bending 1.5” thick hard maple to a 15” radius. He touches on handtools as well, as he is designing a completely new kind of plane.
