@averagejack6390 They aren't your people genius. Do you know they killed your people to have that land and to think they won't do it again is foolishness on your part. @@averagejack6390
This song sent my grandma to her angels, she requested we play this song on repeat and that was the day she passed away. It still touches me deep in my heart wherever you are my grandma may your soul rest in peace
During dis hardship wt ds Corona all around da world I found myself here and I broke in tears.i dnt knw weda I should tnk God for keeping us alive or are we at da finish lane God help us
Ndikhokhele Bawo, zundi kokhele (Lead me oh Father [Lead me]) Ndikhokhele mmeli wami (Lead me my savior) Ezintsizini, Zalomhlaba Bawo (in all the sorrows of this world Father) (Bawo, Bawo, Bawo) ( Father, Father, Father) Bawo ndiyabonga (Father I thank you) Ngoba wena usandigcinile (for you still protect/keep me)
Thank you I now have a deeper understanding of the song. Before knowing the meaning. Something powerful about the melody and harmony of this song that tells you this expresses a longing that only God can fill. God as out father and our everything
When blacks n whites unite the sky is the limit thts why the enemy wants to keep us apart so that we can continue nursing our differences rather than doing exactly this.AMEN BOYS N GIRLS
I'm a Xhosa man and I can confirm that I only saw 3 blacks among 40 whites.. I think what you meant was, "When white people sing black song it becomes viral".. I can agree with that. I really like the song
Heavenly... Bob Marley once said: "One thing about Music is that, when it hits... You feel no pain". May all your pains be removed through the language and healing of music, one Love y'all ❤️
About damn time is what I'm saying, 24 years in our democracy and only a few white people make an effort to learn one of our African languages. Still I'm impressed and it's beautiful makes me proud to be South African.
I bumped into this beautiful song...its not coincidence... that I know...in our trying times as a nation and the whole world...its what I needed to hear 🥺❤
I promote you my doughter, you're qualified to sing with the angels... TO ALL SOUTH AFRICANS DURING THIS PANDEMIC TIME 🙌 Numbers 6:24-26 KJV The Lord bless you, and keep you: [25] The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: [26] The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
As a black South African Male, I only wish to challenge those who would challenge racists. As if racists would even stumble across this. Racism has evolved and its only the narrow minded who could still view it in the way those before us did. GET WITH THE TIMES MY FRIEND. Racism continues to exists because it is allowed to exist in our hearts, keeping it alive. This song's overarching message is:"Father guide us". Those who would sooner seek out challenge from so called racists should be reminded of the above. In SA we are still plagued by racism the only difference is the degree to which it gets maintained and the people who wish it to be true. 🎉🎉🎉🎉The younger generation still live as if it's pre-1994 clinging to suffering that they have no clue about. Narrow mindedness doesn't know race nor social class.
Keep making strides, South Africa. Progress is slow and there are moments of pain and despair. But occasions like these show the immense possibilities that lie ahead for the Rainbow Nation. Ndiyakuthanda Mzansi!
Soprano soloist looks like a Van Amstel girl I knew in Newcastle when she was a little girl... her mom was a sensational singer and my choir mistress for like 8 years!!!
I can only agree. This african music touches you deep within. I am from Switzerland and usually sing the classical repertoire, so this is just amazing to hear such a wonderfully arranged choir. And the director has a very Swiss / German name, wonder where his roots are.... Bravo Bravissimo!
When we continue to allow racism to prevail, we lose so much blessings and miss out on God's perfect plans for us. This song, this Choir, gives a snippet of what heaven expects of us! Please watch the WITS Choir - welcome concert 2020, for another beautiful version!
I love Stellenbosch choir, unfortunately this was not one of their great performances. Poor pronunciation also made it worse. Listen to the same song from other Universities to understand the dislike.
This performance goes to show that black coloured or White, in south Africans can be one and the same soul , if it is felt deep enough!!!! A blind listener would have never known who were singing if he heard this for the first time!!! Can anyone catch my drift? Where do we go from here this with this ????!!!!
Totally agree. Learning the languages is a start, learning about our customs and not calling them barbaric or witchcraft. This choir proves that even in a song you can embrace a language not your own and perform beautifully.
This is soooo beautiful... What an outstanding rendition... Well done Choir Master... A different kinda lockdown party😥🙏 soul soothing. GOD bless USB CC🇿🇦♥️
I was in Christians Brothers College...I applied to Stellenbosch...too dutch...so I got accepted tukkies... witwatersrand, Durban and Rhodes. I went to Rhodes as far as I could get from Pretoria... back in kenya my mom was terminally ill...breast cancer. All in all south Africa has a special place in my heart.
Nice angelic voices ,this makes me proud of my diverse country, especially in these kinda times that we are facing where people are distancing themselves from other race's whereas there are people who can put hat behind and let music bring them together like this...😊😊😊#ProudlySA;-)
