Most of us are not single by choice and single is not a status. It is a term that defines a woman who chooses to be happy and who can fed for herself without relying on other people. For those who cant bear the shame of having fingers pointed on them for their single status, they can then continue chewing their pride. I have been single for ten years now down the line and still counting. I have never been bedridden for being single. It is painful putting up with a drunkard and painful too having to put up with endless fights. This woman would have listened to her daughter and allowed her to make her own decision.
